The point of the post remains the same. Jimbo had a few very good years, but mostly has had mediocre years.

The title of the thread...
quote:

LSU OC vs LSU OC - Jimbo vs E - Avg Total Offense - E's Crushin' It

You're argument now...
quote:

14 wins and 10 losses in the the last 2 seasons. A&M will most likely have 5 or more losses in '19. That crab-nabber in T-town saved Jimbo's arse.

As I said earlier, you're all over the place here.

The Negs pivot 50 times on every pro-O&E thread. But you know that. Just keeping up with a few of the Neg's tangents.

I hear ya and that can certainly be true as well. Let me run this by you since you're making comparisons to the early 2000's, what would you say if someone brought up Orgeron's coaching record from then? I'm gonna guess you would say it's irrelevant and I would agree.

So let me get this straight..... Matt canada was the devil, but his season that got him fired had more yards than E's first season?

O at Ole Miss is brought up frequently. I would say he face-planted there - O says the same thing. He micromanaged - he says that too.

Still hearing crickets on the recent performance of Jimbo. 5-6 at Florida St? By an experienced HC? How the hell can that even be done?

The game has changed. Compared to other teams today, not 20 years ago.

Mainly because he's an a-hole. His offense was ok, once midseason rolled around.

I thought we were discussing him as an OC. What is your fascination with Jimbo? How come we can't just discuss what a good job Orgeron and Ensminger are doing? What's The reasoning for diminishing what Fisher has done in order to make O and/or E look better? Are you trying to convince others about O and E or yourself here?

From what people have said about the way he was acting in practice, there's no way he could return for the '18 season.

When I see even one thread over 2 pages long stay narrowly on track, then I'll do the same. But I won't hold my breath.

Again, how do you explain the 5-6 dumpster fire Jimbo had in 2017?

I have no idea. I'm not even sure how that's relevant. I don't ever bring Jimbo up and I really only see you bring him up. He didn't want to be at LSU. frick him and I hope Orgeron stomps his arse in Tiger Stadium next season.

don’t know, but I think you’re wrong here. Obviously O didn’t trust Canada and there was a lot of friction caused by both O and Canada. O, like Alleva, wants yes men.

I kind of think Canada was pushed on to O. O wanted E if not kiffin. Which is a bigger problem imo. I just can't fathom a dude that is trying to convince every one he is the man for the job would hire a guy without even knowing he runs a completely different style of offense than what you have been preaching you want to run. It just doesn't make sense unless you are an idiot.

It's not ALL about you. Countless Nega's have lamented the fact that Alleva "failed" to land Jimbo as LSU's HC. If you deny that, you're either not reading many coach-related posts, or you are being disingenuous to the point of absurdity.

You're reading different stuff than I'm reading then. There was talk yesterday about Herman that I came in late on, but I honestly haven't seen what you're talking about. I will just take your word for it.

Anyone who seriously followed the coaching search situation knows that Alleva landed Jimbo the first time. He got shutdown by F King and JBE. Then the second time around Alleva wouldn't pay Jimbo what he wanted, and understandably so. Still doesn't change the fact that Jimbo>E.

Mangas is filling the role of former LSU quarterback and offensive analyst Brad Kragthorpe, who took a similar role with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Mangas played and coached alongside new LSU passing game coordinator Joe Brady at William & Mary. Both went there as walk-on receivers and eventually made it onto the Tribe staff.

Did you catch this? Joe Brady bringing in a bro. Very good news, IMO.
