12-1 though in Q1/Q2 games and won the Big 10 which basically replaced the Pac12 as the 4th best conference this season
Lets look at those conference opponent RPIs
@USC- 41
Minnesota- 106
Rutgers- 78
@Ohio St- 226 lost series
Michigan- 61
@Maryland- 125
UCLA- 15
@MSU- 133
Washington- 66
@ Iowa- 73
Outside of Iowa and USC, Oregon lost at least one game on the road in the other series including losing a series to OSU. For reference Mizzou is 141 in RPI.
LSU played series @ #2, #4, and #27. All but 3 of their SEC series have a better RPI than Oregons toughest conference series.

LSU travels well, so the NCAA does not see them traveling to a Super Regional as a potential revenue loss. But they may see giving another team the nod as a potential gain.
Dude, this isn't 1997 anymore. That is NOT AT ALL how this works. Not one single person in the committee room will be heard to say "Those LSU fans, who are so knowledgable about baseball, also travel well, so we will make more money if we put them in a super-regional in Oregon"

Can you explain why playing a Super Regional away from LSU allows the NCAA to make money because I don’t understand how?
It's about getting other fan bases more involved. Baseball has not been a net positive sport for colleges. Not about immediate gain, but generating more long-term interest from fanbases not noted for that yet.
But LSU will almost certainly be a top 8 seed this season.
It's certainly not DEI-based, as the guy I responded to indicated.
