I don't want this shitty uniform. Please tell me I am dreaming this. It's not the Tigers.

AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!SHITTY!!!!

LSU did this due to popular demand--lots of people on this message board and elsewhere want LSU to experiment with their team look. Interestingly, traditional football giants like Michigan, USC, etc. NEVER change their uniforms. Only losing teams like Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, etc. change their helmets and jerseys every year. LSU apparently wants to follow the lead of the Vanderbilts...

I doubt seriously Michigan would agree to soemthing like this.

So you're saying Michigan is above the likes of Oklahoma, Texas, LSU and Ohio State?

ETA: And Michigan is an Adidas school anyway

Look, I'm not one of those people that goes apeshit every time somebody brings up a uniform change but those things are terrible. I doubt seriously Michigan would agree to soemthing like this. I might could live with the all white but that helmet has to go.

Well, some pretty big time, traditional programs are involved. As for the helmet, it's a fricking tribute to where we started. Chillax homey.

Actually, I used Michigan as an example b/c our coach played there so he should know better. There are a lot of other ways they could have gone that would have looked better than that.

Michigan changed their road unis recently.

USC

As for the etc schools, Miami, Oklahoma, and Ohio State are part of the promotion. They all have more history than LSU.

It is a one time deal. LSU isn't experimenting, they aren't considering changing the helmets and jerseys every year. It really isn't that complicated. And you may want to look back a few years at USC and Michigan's jerseys compared to what they wear now.

For the op regarding Texas, they went with a true throwback. The uniform pretty much is the same, just with the new material, and they will have the numbers above the longhorn on their helmet.

And they all for the most part retained their traditional colors. Our pants and helmet are both different.

Holy Crap. Miami does NOT have more tradition than LSU. Move along.

Fail. May want to research Miami. They have a load of titles...but their history starts in the 70's...after LSU had already bagged a title.

Dont bring truth and logic into a rantards argument, dont you know better? I mean Heaven forbid we do something a little different every now and then.

For the record i think those helmets are fricking sick, id love to see it at least once a season

There is a difference in making minor design tweaks and completely changing the color scheme and look of the uniform.

For the point of this thread, they are still considered a historic program that is part of this promotion. I was wrong to put them ahead of LSU as far as history, but I think putting LSU ahead of Miami wouldn't necessarily be accurate either.

I guess if one jumps we all have to jump.

What a bunch of weak asses.

Sorry, celebrate the first nc team with their uniforms. That would be a gas. But this is nothing more than the beginning of a UNIFORM CHANGE.

YOU DON'T FOOL ME.

There is also a difference between a 1 time thing and changing your uniform completely for 4-5 games a year. Also, the USC change was a complete overhaul of the jerseys. I know they went back to an old look, but that still means they changed at one point to the Keyshawn look.
