This marks the 3rd conference championship for LSU in lacrosse this decade:
The women have 2: 2015 + 2016
The men have their 1st: 2019

Wow. Congrats to them. It's nice to see a club sport doing well. I guess the new coach knows what he's doing.

Fairly certain that Lacrosse players have a few screws loose upstairs. At least all the ones I knew in the late 80's did.

For anyone looking to support LSU MLAX, the team could use some help getting out to Utah + feeding + housing the team.

Great to see how much the game and team has grown at LSU since I was a player.

I wish I would've know this was a mile from my house.

I didn’t realize LSU had a really good LAX club.

Travel costs/schedule. They'd be the western most team.
The club team is almost entirely self sufficient. They receive, as do all LSU club teams, an annual budget stipend-though not that much in the grand scheme of club lacrosse budgets. Charter buses across a distance of the SEC/SELC are not cheap.
Many club lacrosse teams have player dues that run anywhere between $750 - as much as $3000 per year. League dues, officials, equipment/apparel, coach stipends, hotels, meals, & buses add up QUICKLY in a 12-16 game season.
Bussing across the SEC/SELC territory would be really tough on the players' physically as well as academically. Most weekends, club lacrosse teams will play 2 or 3 games. Trapping the legs in bus seats for 7 or more hours would really suck.
