Saturday will be big

I think we have 7 home games (Kentucky, Mizzou, Aggie, Georgia, OU, USC and MSU) that are very winnable and 3 road games (Aggie, USC, Ole Miss) that are very winnable.

Saturday @ A&M is one if those winnable road games

Yeah, I think the extent to which they went (and they went in balls deep) on that PR campaign late last year to widely publicize the funding for LSU men's hoops relative to the rest of the SEC - showed they felt they had to for these influential folks you speak of more so than the general LSU public who honestly - were almost totally ambivalent. The 20 of us here that talk hoops are in the vast minority.

There's also the buy out which was 7.5 mil last year. Why not give the man more to work with than spend 7.5 mil to get rid of him just to get another coach you don't give resources to.

Yal need to stop with the underfunded nonsense. That was a desperate and false PR stunt last season to justify keeping MM. MM is a top 50 coach in pay and we’ve been on the average for P5 NIL since he’s been here which is why he’s had multiple top 15 classes at LSU prior to this season.

Where do these numbers stack up in SEC only?

We posted the spring NIL report last April that showed a breakdown of all the major conf teams. It didn’t provide an exact dollar amount, only Total university NIL and percentage allocated to each sport. The increased funding reported this season Is another trick being played on the fans. For example last years top NIL football spender was Ohio State at between $21-22 mil, this season Texas went to almost $40 so our increased spending is just a result of all NIL increasing and not the “bonus spending” some fans are trying to sell here.

Definitely, although I'm not sure if the "influential" folks may not well have been offering to pay - we'll likely never know.

As I'll say every time this comes up, I'm pulling for CMM to succeed, I want him to, but as the head coach he was absolutely complicit and shares blame for being underfunded. Head coach at a school like LSU that values basketball as little as LSU does relatively speaking "HAS" to be the chief promoter and fund raiser for the program.

If we figure out how to keep folks out if the lane, 9-9. If we don’t 5-13.

If Max goes nuts from 3 a few games, and we play defense, and Nwoko stays out of foul trouble we can pull an upset or two

Madking is the Madking of fake news. he doesn't know squat about who spent what. And Mcmahons transfer portal is a reflection of the money that was spent. And no we weren't even close to the top 8 SEC teams in terms of NIL. It is obvious to everyone except the bleeding vaginas that Mcmahon has his best team and an SEC caliber PG after they decided to up the money.

And no one thinks this is an elite 8 team. Only an idiot would say that. We will find out where we stand on Saturday. There is nothing wrong with being more optimistic with a PG like Thomas and bigs like Nwoko and Sutton. Turnovers are way down. Scoring droughts are pretty much nonexistent. We have a post presence with Nwoko. They get to the foul line which can offset a bad shooting night. All which we didn't have last year. Defense needs to step up a notch and Miller and King need to contribute but no doubt it is a better team and therefore look forward to a better record. If he doesn't make the tournament then he will be fired. Until then I will support my team and my coach and let the bleeding vaginas show what miserable lives they have.

Projection as usual. The master of game propaganda just pushing more and what’s funny is you well know anyone who follows LSU basketball knows what you’re saying is totally false.

Sutton isn’t a big you moron. I wonder if you even watch the games and if you do, do you have any idea what’s going on in them.

I like how he says “Scoring droughts have been nonexistent” as we played a cupcake schedule.

14-40 SEC record
