Being down 2 at half is not bad considering how bad we played and how many bad calls there were.

Seems like LSU has done a good job at keeping the opponents from scoring. Though I'm not sure that's a matter of pace of play or actual defensive efficiency.
Looked it up and they're 42 in defensive efficiency. 48th on scoring. So both and/or neither?

Akron played harder, executed better, ran down seemingly every long offensive rebound, got the benefit of the foul calls, put a few key LSU players in foul trouble and........leads by only 2 at the half.
LSU took some punches and didn't play well. Yet, they are still very much in the game. This is the third game in a row Cam Hayes has given them some valuable minutes. And it was nice to finally see McMahon show some emotion. I was beginning to worry he might be an android.

Agree with all this. Hopefully the team realizes it has to play hard to win this one and come out ready to not get outrebounded in the second half. Clean up the boards and LSU wins this one in the second half.
