Was excited to see the date announced for the spring football game. Was planning on making the 6.5 hr drive along with my son and grandson for both games. First time ever for my grandson to visit LSU! Now this ridiculous time overlap.

I was also planning on coming in from out of town and hoping to see both, which is why I was a little irritated this morning. However, based on some posters, there may still be a slight chance of pushing the baseball game a couple of hours. Let’s see.

Maybe’s there’s time to move baseball to a 4pm start?

If the baseball game is not on TV, I would expect the time to be moved.
All the games are on TV. It's also an SEC game. I doubt we have much control over the time of the game. ESPN probably has a say in when the spring game is as well, but I wasn't aware they had announced a kickoff time yet.

Should’ve reversed it so football fans can leave at halftime to watch baseball

They are usually better at staggering them.

According to this, they have. Maybe someone jumped the gun.

Interesting. The most recent press release I could find specifically said the date had been announced but a time hadn't been yet

Same here. A friend of mine sent me that link first thing this morning and was bummed because we were planning on tailgating and doing it up for both games.

Very few people want to go to the baseball game.
In fact, the baseball game should be canceled.

The games that are streaming only on SECN+ the home team controls the start times.
