Caeleb Dressel. Pulled up his USA Swimming times from 12yo to now. He has been on the radar since he was in middle school. Looks legit. Age group prodigy from Florida, went to Bolles High School.
His times are gradually progressive and his body does not look like he is on the juice. In fact he has spectacular times in other strokes as well, including the Fly and the Breaststroke. Kids on PEDs often have a distinctive muscular look. This guy is lean and mean.
In a few words, this kid is the "real deal".

Renovations to LSU Nat are paying off. Tigers are moving up, plenty of swimming to come on Saturday. But will it be enough for both our Men and Women's Team to once again attain our SEC Top 5 status from a previous era.

Final Results 2016 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships
200 Back
Women 16th
Men 7th, 19th, 24th
100 Free
Women 5th
Men 8th, 19th
200 Breast
Women 16th
Men 23rd
Diving
Women zero points
400 Free Relay
Women 7th out of 12 schools
Men 6th out of 10 schools
SEC Team Rankings
Women fall two spots from last year to 7th out of 12 schools.
Men fall one spot from last year to 10th, last in the SEC. Can only go up from here.
Not a good year for LSU Swimming and Diving. Things seem to be going in the wrong direction.
Maybe next year.
We had some good swims but LSU is not keeping pace with the rest of the field. Hopeful that the Renovations at the LSU Nat will attract recruits, otherwise we must rely on the experience of our current coaching staff and their evaluation of talent, recruiting skills and leadership. In other words, it doesn't look good.

doc, it's a tough conference.

If you take a look at the race, he wins the 50 almost purely on the start, underwater, and turn.

From what I have heard from swimmers in a few classes that I am taking, we were supposed to have one of the best recruiting classes we have had in many years. How can we have some of the best recruits and so little to show for it?
Posted on 2/22/16 at 6:16 pm to ElleEssYou
Falling in line with the other sports I reckon

Also this thread title and the actual stuff in this thread couldn't be more opposing
Posted on 2/23/16 at 4:47 am to IntenseKid
It says Championships not Champions. The "stuff in this thread" are simply the results Kid. No hype, just results.
And yes there is a lot of hype about the recruiting class, but that is all this staff is about, hype. But don't take my word for it, just go to LSUsports.net and read the LSU Swimming and Diving page and compare the information about the swim team that is provided, to the actual SEC Results, and you can see that the hype "couldn't be more opposing" than the reality of the results and current ranking.
As the coach said " the numbers speak for themselves".
Last in the SEC after 6 years at the helm, is last in the SEC after 6 years.
