LSU looks to cling on to #3 in the state as take on all of Hammond, America

For LSU a 3 game losing streak may be nothing...but it's rare in Hammond, America. But after game 1 into last weeks showdown for #1 in the state vs The Ragin Cajuns that's just what The Yellow Fighting Sewards were looking at. Although the Lions outscored the Cajuns greatly overall UL eeked out the series taking 2 of 3. Congrats to them while they hold on to that # 1 Louisiana ranking.

But Hammond isn't in panic mode, as playing better teams makes you better and when you play a less talented team makes the W a little easier to go grab.

That's what we have tonight as Hammond and it's mighty Lions are headed to Hammond West/Pat Kenelly West (debate over national pundits between what to call the Box, but it's only debate because of the green and gold take over that happens yearly in the stands).
The Lions after a grueling series needs this midweek pick up and they knew how tough the UL series would be so they scheduled a easier win to ethier get us back on track or if we would have won the UL series it gave us a team we could slightly over look but still come out on top.
Yes LSU has had some better teams in the past, but let's be honest...the umps have willed the Tigers to more than their fair share of wins against the Lions. And The Fighting Sewards know this so this year they just decided to be 3 runs better than LSU so the umps can't come into play.

The tailgate is already in full blast over at the box, and hopefully LSU fans can be classy for once because we respect your program and being #3 in this state is nothing to sneeze at..this state can play baseball and as long as LSU doesn't run into UL or SLU in the tourney they can play with anyone.

And please no beer throwing on us this year as Roomies costume is expensive.
