That in itself is an accomplishment, what our team did today was just ridiculous.

ETA: Only team to hold them under 40 in 13 games (we were the last ones to do it too). Only team to hold the under 20 (we've now done it twice) since 2010 against Nebraska. Only the second team since they got in the SEC, to hold them under 400 yards total. Last was against Florida which was their first game in the SEC, and Manziel's first college start. The last team to hold TAMU under 300 yards was Oklahoma in 2009! DEFENSE

Gave up 10 points and 299 yards.

Where was THIS defense all season? We would have only lost to Alabama.

The Defense really came together. Excited about next year. Hope guys stay for one more year.

Meh, if anything the weather helped aTm, considering their only TD came from white slipping and falling down.

But helped LSU's high output, I take it?

Didn't LSU only have 7 runs not up the gut? I'm guessing when your game plan is to run it down the opponent's throat having it rainy doesn't mess with that much. LSU wasn't trying to win with flash and speed

Of course it did. If LSU wins, it is only because of outside factors, right?

Yes, they did. We also threw two touchdowns and had a fairly decent pass game in that same 'bad weather'. I guess A&M is incapable of adjusting their game plan but that's also due to the 'bad weather' and not a shutdown LSU defensive performance?

Our defense is built to stop A&M. Remember when everyone was (rightfully) complaining about having players that were too small to match up with Alabama? Those same guys are too fast for A&M to spread out effectively

Truth hurts. Not saying a and m wins in dry weather but it played a factor in their total output.

How so? We were able to throw the ball when we wanted and needed to. Why weren't they able to do anything outside of the pass where our DB slipped on the wet turf? Some of you people are so miserable it's funny. I'm so glad I don't let great performances by my favorite team ruin my day!!!
