re: LSU is the more talented team and is a title contender this year but that doesn't mean BYU

Hey that's not very nice
Anyway, "Something of substance" = putting a championship caliber team on the field consistently. He's coached one game as permanent head coach. But I agree, I'm glad he got rid of the dead weight from Miles' tenure like any new coach does and kept the best D.C. in the county. I also think Canada could be a potentially great hire.

Point being they made two huge plays which put them in positions to win. We didn't play a good game on offense. I know this, the fans know this, the team knows this and the entire country knows this. I'm not going to post stats for the entire Bama game dumbass. I conceded in my statements that it was the only game we truly lost. Was still a good game until the 4th quarter against Bama. A team which is superior to the entire country at this time. Point being if we can stay with Bama then we can beat anyone and BYU will need a prayer to stay with LSU. We are a badass team which had problems getting into the endzone because of our scheme and play selection within that scheme, period. Go find a Les Miles video to watch.

Take off the purple and gold glasses. Idiot LSU fan thinks being shut out at home is "staying with" a team.

Was 0-0 through 3 full quarters
They scored 10 in the fourth
I'd say that's staying with them
They were uncontested all season up until the NC game
They had no passing tds and we had 1 int
None of their rbs even had a score
Offensively everything was a wash between both teams except one thing. Their qb could extend plays with his feet. That was the difference.

I think the IDIOT would be the poster who is an obvious troll. That idiot would think that every person that is on this board doesn't realize that Bama, the #1 team in the nation, didn't score until the fourth quarter thanks to a few holding penalties that were not called.
Yeah, that IDIOT troll would think that it was not staying with a team.
The idiot will also not recognize that a lot of changes have been made on the offensive side of the LSU football program since then. That is an IDIOT.

Our defense played an inspired game, but by the end of the third it was obvious that they were gassed.
Saban played a conservative game plan that was intended to control the ball and avoid turnovers. Beginning late in the third, it was obvious that they were going to be able to move the ball.
Our offense was pretty pedestrian. You can call that sticking with them, or whatever you want, but that's feel good, moral victory stuff.

You are a dufus.
BYU is vastly overmatched vs. LSU. You will realize this soon enough.

0-0 going into the forth quarter. You may not have noticed but Coach Eaux went out and hired the 9th scoring offensive coordinator in the nation not too long after that game. Sucks doesn't it?
Defense did their job and now Coach Eaux has gone out and possibly fixed the offense. Oh damn, what will you cry about now?

What does his hiring of a new offensive coordinator have to do with the Bama game last year?
