With Auburns win yesterday, LSU is now limited to the Sugar Bowl or no BCS bowl at all, most likely. Unless things fall apart and LSU gets a NC shot, their only opportunity looks like the Sugar. Why any LSU fan would pull for Auburn yesterday is beyond me. With their win LSU fans now have to root for Auburn to beat SC or else LSU will be left out of the BCS all together. If AU wins, LSU will be selected by the Sugar. If SC wins, AU will stay ahead of LSU in the BCS and be selected as an AQ at #3, and #4 LSU will end up at 11-1 in the Capital One

You can argue all you want on LSU's behalf, but this is how it is.

Top 4 in BCS standings automatically go to BCS bowl.

Win and we're in.

Am I the only person here that knows this?

Probably because it's not true.

Wrong. As someone as already stated, as long as we don't get jumped by a Big 10 team then we're in if we beat the pigs.

QUIT USING UGA as an argument. They didn't go in 2007 because they weren't as good as LSU. They had :

1. A worse record
2. An easier schedule
3. Worse losses
4. Worse MOV
5. Worse quality wins

Nebraska and OU have both gone. Michigan in 2006 would have gone had UF lost the SECCG

Only 2 teams from one conference can go. We would be left out if the cocks win.

That cannot be right. There's no friggin' way a #4 team can not make the BCS because of ANOTHER team ahead of them being in the same conference. Ain't no friggin' way.

It would defy all notions of logic and common sense.

Edit: Nevermind. I understand now. And it's still utter BS.

You'd think that if Auburn loses they'd drop way more than just 2 spots.

Jesus that is wrong. If LSU is #4, AU is #3, and SC won the SEC CG, do you think the BCS takes 3 teams from a conference? No. LSU is left out. You are one of the many that DO NOT understand the rules or how it works. Its ok bro.

If you want the Sugar, then pulling for Auburn yesterday made sense.

I believe, Auburn is gonna beat South Carolina and we'll beat Arkansas and go to the Sugar.

If Auburn woulda lost yesterday then the Sugar was outta the question. Either Auburn or South Carolina takes the Sugar and LSU may go to the Orange.

So you were down to one BCS shot anyway.
unless, of course, you believe we can still get in the NCG. i do not. I think they put in the Big 10 Champ before LSU.
