La Tech wasn't a bad team

La Tech is now 3-7 on the season. They are a bad team that played us to within one score and a 2 point conversion at Death Valley. This is so much fun. Washington was going to win fight for the Pac 10 title this year because Locker was a Heisman stud (after we played them, of course). Vanderbilt was a good team because they played in a bowl game last year, that's why we couldn't pull away from them more than we did. Now Tech is a good team, and that justifies why LSU couldn't pull away from them.

We shall see ... I'll either be right, or I'll be wrong.

I've just got a feeling this week. Also, this is a much better LSU football team than 2008 FWIW.

I got a feeling to man. 35-17 JJ comes back hot with a week and a half to see the game on the sideline, Defense is back after the slump from the Tech game and mostly everybody is healthy.

Have you ever had a hangover? The day starts slow and lazy...then you get over it and move on!

LSU had a hangover from the BAMA game. The defense recovered very well in the 2nd half. They held Tech to less than a measley 100yds in the second half. (NOW...the offense is something else; they stayed hung over)

Folks forget about the famous hangover game against UAB (2000).

Don't tell the Miles haters. Every one of them is hoping against hope that LSU loses it's last 2 games so they can yowl that "we told you so."
They and their whole families are the worst kind of pos on the planet.

You would choose to say it like that.

ETA: Since it was the 3rd page, probably should have read the thread to see if this joke was already said (which it was ).

before JJ got hurt, LSU's offense was still right about 100th in the nation and last in the SEC.

Ranking is a product of the entire season. It doesn't address the play as of late. Actually, in the last 3 games (one being against Bama mostly with a backup QB) LSU was averaging 361 yards per game which would put them running at about 61st.

If Jefferson is healthy and plays well, I think we win this game.

Isn't it sad how some people seem to get offended if you say something good about this team?

not really. We have been running the ball much better lately. We stopped running the ball to get Lee more passing attempts in case he had to go this weekend.

The people complaining that we could have blown them out by running the ball are just dumb. Who cares if we blow out tech. Let's get the team ready for real games.

I kinda doubt that. It would be one thing if we were unranked and a losing team but come on.
