Kentucky has struggled with everybody

They won 48-14 yesterday.

Yeah they beat USCe

Um, yeah. Who have we beaten who is better than USCe?

quote:

but they are pretty much garbage

Oh, so that settles it, then?

quote:

They almost beat UF in the swamp, but they didn't.

But playing UF the way they did shows that they are on par with Florida physically, talent-wise, etc. Also, they seem improved since that game, especially on offense.

quote:

They went down 14-3 to a ULM team that we never let score on us.

And they put up 48 on a ULM team that held us to 31. Their margin of victory over ULM was bigger than ours.

quote:

Kentucky is a decent team, and will likely finish with 8 wins

Not sure how that is supposed to happen. They are 5-1 with six games left. Two of those games, the only ones they have left at home, are against Miss. St. and Georgia, both of whom should be heavy favorites to beat them. The other four, and Kentucky would have to win three of them to get to eight wins, are all on the road against LSU, Missouri, Tennessee and Louisville, and they are likely underdogs in all four games. I think eight wins would be an optimistic prediction for them right now. Six will be a challenge, and seven would be a pretty good performance.

While correct, a point spread that was "off" would create arbitrage opportunities...Which there are not generally-speaking. Meaning the lines do indeed indicate how many points one team is better than the other given the venue, generally-speaking of course.

So yes, the line is determined to induce equal money on both sides, but there most certainly is a similarity associated with it in the context of the line (or fairly close to it) being the most likely actual result.

In other words, just because the line makers intention is not to tell us how many points one team will win by (their intention is to balance the money), that does not mean that spread isnt the most likely result....Most of the time, it is. The two "intentions" kind of go hand-in-hand.

This. Well said.

You know I initially thought you were a posi tiger.....but the last several posts I've seen you make,.....clearly a negatiger. I wouldn't touch this game either way. Everyone thinks easy money on KY.......tells me LSU is likely to win by two scores......so good luck.

lolz.

I think the line is set too high (from an oddsmakers' perspective) and will drop some based off of the action that comes in.

But LSU should win this game. It's a good match-up for us.

I'm as positive as they come.

It's amazing to me how absolutely stupid you sound on here. So you think they just set the line trying to get action, and that at the end of the day LSU will be a slight favorite...when the money pours in on KY....what an absolute fricking loser troll you are. You have zero comprehension of how betting lines are formed. I haven't seen the lines, but if it is 10...you are a complete moron to think it will be closer to a pickem .....good god...but not surprised by your absolute fricking dumbass self.

just remember this...this stupid absolute complete moron has previously picked LSU to never win the SEC championship, never to beat Saban, and never to beat Meyer.......just think about all of that......he is an absolute knee-jerking, over-reacting, complete moron...and that is putting it nicely....he is clueless.

I didn't expect it to come in that high. With that said, given the way lines work...I expect LSU to beat KY by 2-3 touchdowns. All of you poor mouthing mfs....can gfy.

Kentucky may win the east….seriously. They can hang with Georgia and they had a chance to beat Florida. They already took down USCe. Thy put up 30 on Florida and 45 on USCe. They really had a bad game against Vandy though. Regardless, this Kentucky team is much better than they have been recently and it's feasible that they could hang 30 on our defense. I do like our chances defending their passing game and I think we will be able to run the ball and control the clock.

The fans have to stay behind the Tigers regardless and LSU has to win.

I think LSU wins but this won't be easy at all.

KY will come out in the Wildcat and basically run a QB draw all night with an athlete that's 10X better than Florida's QB.

Chavis has proven throughout his career he can't stop the QB draw.

We are truly in a bizarro world.

Moo St. ranked #1.

Ole Piss not far behind.

And now ... LSU favored by a measly 10 pts at home vs. ... Kentucky.
