Arkansas is fricked. Also a side note is that they haven’t played a single road game this season and they will be going into a packed, hostile crowd.

Van Horn also coaches more scared than any coach on the planet. He folds like a cheap suit with any adversity.

Alex box attendance is more of a Sunday sermon crowd.

Has LSU played anyone with a pulse at home this year?

This team has a lot of talent but you have to put some of this into perspective based on the mostly weak competition faced so far.

Despite the loss yesterday, I’m more impressed with them winning two of three against a ranked team on the road, and winning 3-0 at Texas three weeks ago.

Just a reminder, the one time the world needed Arkansas to deliver karmic justice to a team that sorely deserved it:

People are going to be amazed at how much control Floyd and Hurd suddenly have in BR.

I think the Box will be more lively this weekend than in recent memory. As always, winning cures everything and this team inspires hope for a title.

Hollan is a LHP. McEntire and Adcock are RHP. I know you’re referencing Hagen Smith as a SP, but the starting rotation against Auburn gave no reason for him to change back.

DVH’s best move is to save Smith for the pen and closer role so he can be used more than once. Since they have no consistency with LHP BP.

Great, I hope they just let Hagen sit over there or use him twice when they're down.

You do realize that if he “sits over there” like you’re suggesting then he can start Sunday?

DVH said that is a possibility when he made the move. He was moving him to a LHP BP, closer, and possible Sunday SP option.

Smith and Hollan can’t go 18.0 IP. You just think they should have no reliable option out of the pen for LHP? Sorry, but I feel DVH knows what he’s doing.. even if it’s a gamble.

So, they could start 2 lefties? What are you trying to prove? You rebutted that they start 2 lefties by saying that they could start 2 lefties.

ETA: And, in the other thread, you rebutted that I wouldn't be surprised if he started.

We just left guys in too long or took them out too quickly. Cooper should have only been used for the double play. Hurd and Shores should have been left in a little longer. Along with that the ump strike zone especially yesterday when it was the size of a pencil.

They've also played AIR at home, I'm surprised AIR has managed to score 19 runs
