I’ll buy the injuries and the shortage of pitching this year. However after watching teams like Oregon St and Tennessee Tech hit over the last several days if anyone thinks that LSU is even in that conversation then they are kidding themselves. Paul doesn’t need to let this be his Cam Cameron. Go get who you want... because you’re LSU and you can.

We knew this was going to be a problem going into the year. Especially with Josh Smith hurt and having to play freshman who weren’t ready physically. And when you lose bats like Diechman and Pap, you’re losing some serious pop. Don’t worry though, we have some freshman coming in that will change that, and a healthy Smith and Cabrera, we at least have a foundation in a our line up to build around.

A hitting coach does not have anywhere near the effect on offense as an OC does on football.

With that said there are better hitting coaches out there than Ochinko.
