Victor maybe.
Quarterman has a much better chance than Victor. Victor is okay but he has a loooooong way to go.

Victor has a very very similar game to Carl Landry, and he's also the same size. They aren't starters but are more than capable backup power forwards.

I think Victor will be a steal in the second round when he goes as a role player.

I just hope Blakeney stays for one more year. JJ needs to sell to him that next year this is his team. He will be the Ben Simmons of next year (not quite as much hype, but people will watch LSU basketball because of him).

That is if JJ is even our coach after this year's shite show.

Quarterman won't sniff the NBA. He is fricken awefull. Blakeney has the athleticism for the NBA but not much else right now. Maybe he can develop into an NBA player in time but he is no shoe in for the NBA. And then we have Simmons. Right now he looks like if he is the #1 pick may possibly be the biggest bust in NBA history. He is no sure thing in the NBA. Could develop into a good NBA player but just has a long way to go right now. He has all the physical attributes so no reason to think he won't develop.

You've clearly just started following basketball. TQ is a legit NBA prospect and will be in someone's camp this summer if he leaves, now if he makes the team or comes down to his work ethic but he has all the tools. As for you saying Simmons is an "average SEC player" just flat out stupid, the kid averages almost 20-12-6. Also no chance he is even close to being the biggest bust in NBA history, Brown, Oden, and Bennett all are busts in the last 15 years...Simmons will be an All Star.

Freudian slip?

and Quarterman absolutely could be a NBA player if he ever gets his head right.

Another thing that I think really holds him back is his shot. It is pretty slow and with the way he positions the ball, he really needs some space to get it off cleanly. He doesn't really have good form and it think the shot is wildly inconsistent and inaccurate because of it. He can somehow manage to go 5-5 from 3 against Oklahoma and then he's throwing up airballs and going 6-34 in the games since then. Seems like this would be a big deal for a guard prospect in the NBA.

He could try to go pro. He started the season as a potential one-and-done. It didn't look likely with his slow start.

However, he has really turned it on the 2nd half of the season. I wonder what NBA scouts think of him right now. Even if he is a late 2nd round pick, he may prefer that over sticking around in this dumpster fire.

We have three now in the NBA that were on a team together just a couple of years back that folks would all scoff at the notion that any would play in the league. All in as we speak.

Could be 4. Josh Gray has the physical ability and the ball skills. Just can't get his head together.

OK, that was a troll. Good one.

I mean you weren't serious were you?

I should bump some of the threads comparing Gray to the Pistol.

agree that Simmons won't be a bust, but I don't see him being a dominant player or an All-Star unless he drastically improves his offensive game. And I mean drastically. I'm just still shocked that a guy of his calibre, with a former long-term pro player for a father, has so little offensive game, at least in the half court set. No jump shot, can't finish with his left hand, and no dominant post moves. They're just missing. Bizarre.

That said, he's tall, athletic, and has a great handle, so he'll probably have a long career, and make a lot of money. But there are just so many flaws in his game that need fixing. We'll all watch and see.

Victor will not even make the D-League. And Quarterman? He might get on a D-League squad, but he better get to work and get better.

Maybe last year. They way he's played, and the way LSU has looked because of it I just don't see it translating to second round.
