Alabama has 5 star red shirt juniors riding the bench.

Pretty good stuff when you can limit NFL talent to sub duty.

You resort to name calling, However, I’m the idiot. One thing about the ignorant, they don’t know they are.

top 3 at least for the last 5 years, why nothing to show for it?

If you can't fix this problem, you will never play for championships.

we were playing for championships when more juniors were leaving. And this isn't just an LSU problem. The number of juniors nationally that declare every year has sky rocketed, and a lot of that has to do with the new rookie pay scales. There isn't as much as an incentive to return, financially, as there used to be

bama had THREE redshirt seniors in its starting 22 vs UGA. and one of those was a 5 star.

Eight more starters were either SRs or RS JRs. in others words, half of the starting lineup had been there 4 or 5 years. So by the time they are finally playing, they aren't ready to declare.

on defense alone, they had three seniors who were all top 15 overall prospects in HS (Da'Shawn Hand was 5, Tony Brown was 9, Rashaan Evans was 14).

Alabama is able to do this because they have 4 and 5 stars sitting on the bench for 2-3 years at some positions. That's the kind of depth they have been able to accrue over the years.

Of the players you listed:

Da'Shawn Hand was a first time starter this year.

Tony Brown has had attitude problem throughout his career, was suspended 4 games last year. he's also been a bust. That INT in the title game was his first of the season. For the season this year he has 31 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 INT, and 2 PBUs

Rashaan Evan was also a first time starter this year. He had spent last year backing up Rueben Foster, and spent his first two years playing mainly special teams.
