Tino what do you expect from dumbasses...
It really is amazing I know a bunch of people that are diehard LSU fans, but guess what they went to SELU and graduated and guess what...they have had season tickets longer then you have been on this planet. These people that I talk about get out at 4 or 5 in the morning for LSU games and go to basically every away game they can afford. It justs go to show what most students at LSU have become. When I went there we cheeered for SLU except when they played LSU.
I still hold out hope for the students at LSU even though the student section has gone to shite the past couple of years.

There is no pressure for LSU to ever be the 2nd best team in the state for any sport. SLU may be having a good season early on, but this is baseball man, not football. Winning a couple of games against a fair a opponents isnt a rarity for the worst teams in the league. That just happens. LSU is the best college baseball team in the state, they arent feeling pressure, they probably dont even know slu is undefeated. I mean they didnt even have a football dept like 7 years ago. I'm not saying they suck and you shouldnt be happy for them, but dont put them in the same ballpark as lsu

This is a little silly this early. SLU beat EIU who is still winless, Valley who is getting skulled by everyone, and possibly the worst SEC team in State.

Not quite, your a couple of bricks shy of a full load if you really believe this.
That being said I am damn proud of the Lions. I have been saying for years that it made no sense why SLU couldn't get their shite together and win consistently. They have everything they need to win. Great location, facilities, good school. Location is the big thing that has been baffling. With SLU being in Hammond right along I-12, they can recruit from Houston to Pensecola. There has to be a shite load of second level talent thats not quite good enough to play in the SEC that could be on SLU's radar. Hopefully they have this thing turned around.

i think its not so much hating on them as it is just disagreeing that they are a better team than LSU. can they beat LSU in a midweek game? of course. could they even win a weekend series against LSU? possible. would they beat Ranaudo and a focused LSU team in a regional during post-season play. no chance! .....thats the difference. when things are on the line and both teams play all their horses and are focused in a meaningful game for more than just bragging rights LSU is the better team. period.
