If he doesn't go 11-1, clean house right?

Their composite talent rating is damn near the same. Might be 5-6 spots different.

Texas issue wasn't talent, it was simply attitude

Take off the purple and gold glasses for a second and give credit where credit is due. It does not mean you think anything less of Orgeron.

So because I said my expectations are 11-1 next season I should be banned? I did not say one negative thing in that post. So, let me get this straight, if somebody says something negative then you bitch and cry about them being negative.

Are you intentionally this obtuse?

Not because I don’t think expectations are valid

You've revealed yourself as an O hater who just cloaks himself in alleged positive comments. You really don't think much of Coach O and it shows. Real O supporters have faith in him and have the same high expectations that he does of himself.

It's not unfair to say - maybe. I'm assuming there are other people with more influence out there who agree. Do we know any details about his contract extension yet?

Their talent is rated 9th in the composite talent rating. Second highest in their conference.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Orgeron, just pointing out the often repeated bullshite that's passed around on this board.

Is that what I said at all? I didn't even remotely suggest that.

The season has to play out. If LSU starts off 6-0 and they are looking great, and Burrow gets hurt, and they drop a few games, that must be taken into consideration.

If LSU finishes 10-2/9-3, and certain areas struggle, then some changes may be needed to improve those areas.

If they finish anything less than 9-3 next season, then yeah you might need to start looking at large scale changes.

What the hell is wrong with thinking that?

So what you’re saying is Texas had a coaching problem, and Herman fixed it.

Seems like that would make him a decent coach.

Ok. So even using your rankings, Texas as at least met those expectations. LSU has not. So anybody saying Herman is doing well so far, is not a slap in the face to anything to do with LSU.

I fully expect LSU to beat Texas next season.

Anybody who can't at least recognize this is extremely insecure.

You said Texas had the second most talent in the Big 12. Where did they finish last season in conference?

If 4 losses is "fixing" in one of the weakest P5 conferences, yes. But your standards are all over the place.

If you don't mind, point me to where I said he was an elite head coach please.

Wrong is -- setting an absolute bar and calling the season a failure without context. We can play the what ifs all day. For example: If the bar is 11-1 and the first 3 QBs get hurt and out for the season in the first 3 games and LSU finishes 10-2, is season a failure? Your "bar or bust" would answer "yes." But your "that must be taken into consideration" says otherwise. Make up your mind.

What conference do they play in?

Where do you think LSU would end up in that conference every year?

Did they, or did they not, make the conference title game and win a BCS Bowl?

But since this is the direction you want to take it, you must think Orgeron really sucks for losing to Troy right?
