Kind of conflicted on this one. Reserve judgement when the facts come out. On the one hand, he's a kid that should be able to go out and not have to deal with assholes talking shite. On the other hand, unfortunately it's part of it all. You want the fame and everyone to know who you are, you're going to get your fair share of assholes too. You can't beat up everyone that tells you that you suck. If you could do that, Ryan Leaf wouldn't have any hands left. I hope he was defending himself and nothing comes of the incident.

LSU football players have gotten in fights and kicked some arse at local bars for years now. I don't recall more than one having to sit out a game.

I like that JJ has enough swag to beat down some douche thats talking smack ( if that part is true)

White, Black, Chinese, Hispanic, Indian... it doesn't matter. Jarrett Lee recieved criticism for playing poorly, but JJ is constantly defending by some people on this board when not only has he played badly, but he has had a piss poor attitude and done things like drink and go to the bar during football season.
He was there obviously. I hope he was just there because he's a kid and he wants to have a social life like anyone else, but from a football stand point, that's not dedication. As far as pretending that this public scrutiny is undeserved... at this point, hell yea it is.
