Think about how many people come onto this site and say the Fiesta Bowl was meaningless. That win was the start of a positive wave of good news for this LSU program.

I posted this on the RB yesterday. It is an article and quotes from Bill Busch in regards to the DT and #1 player out of Utah who has signed with LSU and the #1 CB in the nation out of California that is committed to LSU.

free 24/7 article:

quote:

“Absolutely,” Busch said of LSU making their presence felt in California. “And playing out in the Fiesta Bowl was really big for us. I can’t comment on (2020 recruits), but it’s going very, very well. They are very, very receptive.”

Bill Busch opens up on recruiting

So if some moron on this board says the game or win was meaningless, whose opinion are you going to believe. The LSU safeties coach who is actually recruiting that area and talking to people or some clown on a message board that doesn't know shite about anything.

I love where things are headed. Albeit not perfect (staff related to be specific).

Lawrence and Fehoko create a few things that the top programs do better than LSU. You return 4th and 5th year guys that are stronger and more experienced. It also forces the younger guys to get stronger before they move to the top of the rotation. Lastly, allows for more rotation amongst the dlinemen.

Keeping juniors is sometimes more important than getting new recruits. Great job with this Coach O!

The offense continues to be the weak spot on this team. The offense still needs to make a change in philosophy which includes finding an innovative OC not a retread. At this time, I don’t see this happening.

So many detractors have complained about Ensminger and the production this year. And for the record, I agree that MUCH of it has been warranted. Those folks almost 100% also railed against the “old geezer” WR coach.

Funny though. You complain about the offense but then also point out Sullivan’s departure as a negative...

Plus, we just lost our wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator in Jerry Sullivan.

Are you just trying to be a contrarian in an optimistic thread? Sure seems like it to me.
