Hopefully he's stepping up as a leader.

Go watch the practices on YouTube
Daniel's is clearly getting the 1st team reps
(We don't get to see the whole practice though, maybe Brennan takes over afterwards)

Hearing Daniesl wouldn't be 2nd on the depth chart at this point if it were released today. He's solid 3rd.

I am surprised that nobody is talking about Matthew Langlois. He is getting second team reps at Free Safety, while Derek Davis and Jordan Tolls have been moved around to Nickel and Corner for depth.

Videos are weird. Both practicing with first team Oline. Daniels does practice with Emery it seems exclusively. So that may be it.

If we are making generalizations off the videos, then daniels deep balls need a shite ton of work.

Nussmeier doest even make an appearance in the 11 v 11 video.

If you look at the individual drill videos it was Brennan-Nuss-Daniels-Howard-Someone else.

Reps are being split evenly, last Saturdays 11 on 11 Brennan ran with the 1s, this week jayden. Jayden is a great runner, but a not so great passer, media at practice say that when he's running the offense they tend to run more. In the series we see from Saturday, the one where he ran for a first down, he missed all of his throws it seems, the only reason they moved the ball down field is from penalties and the rbs running. The clips of myles running with the 2s you see one play where myles see a free Blitzer and he dumps the ball to his rb for a nice gain.

I don't understand why so many people here have convinced themselves that Daniels is the answer. He might get a lot better. He might be a worthy starter come fall. Bit if Kelly released a depth chart today, I bet Daniels would be QB3.

Sure, a quarterback that can run is nice to have, but a quarterback that can advance the offense by passing is essential. Myles Brennan will start game 1.

I love both guys and want the best one to win. I'm confident in BK's ability to choose the best one.

He isn't ANY kind of answer. And he will NOT get better. He's a 4th year qb, he's peaked.
They are simply giving the appearance that he was given a fair shot. When they walk on campus after summer, Kelly will comment about how Howard has done a tremendous job getting ready to lead.
That will be the start of Howard being wedged into a starting roll by midyear, if not sooner.

If we can keep them healthy, the front 4 has a chance to be dominant. Gaye was making all kinds of plays before his injury and Smith is a monster

We don't want #45 up until FOUR PAST MIDNIGHT either. It'll hurt his IT factor and he wont STAND a chance.

have said the same thing... if you cant move the ball downfield in the air. youre useless... I watched some of his video and I did not see a "passer" but everyone was crowning him the starter as soon as he transferred... Brennan will be the starter
