What I remember mostly from that game sitting in the students’ section was the game saving tackle inside the 2-yard line by Mike Anderson.
Where the hell did the time go!!

The purple jerseys with gold pants and helmets are classic, and more or less a Tiger tradition.
What you're talking about, an all-purple uniform, is just abominable. It's as bad as the black uniforms I see photoshoped frequently on this board.

Seems odd that they would call you about my tampons.

There should be a posting age limit. These Old people are losing their minds, then posting during their dementia. They’re loose cannons.
Jk. But seriously, you need to take your meds, because that shite made zero sense.

First play was a td pass to Andy Hamilton from Mike Hillman
Was it? I remember watching a game maybe it was 2 years prior where the first offensive play for lsu was a half back pass for a touchdown.

I’m not calling Gray Tiger a liar but why would they treat tampons like a controlled substance? And why would they call HIM about YOUR tampons being ready. Just doesn’t add up...

One of my good friends at LSU was from Alabama and his dad played in that game as the starting FB for Auburn. I met him in the 90s when we beat Auburn at their place and he was a really great host to us misfit kids at the time.
He mentioned that his biggest regret of his sports career was in that game. Apparently, he didn't get many offensive touches but they had a play action route for him that he would run a fly route down the sidelines. They called his number in that game and Sullivan threw a perfect pass but he dropped it. Think it may have been later in the game.
