this is your problem, the flag doesn't "mean" anything, it's a symbol of which different people associate different meanings.

Just becasue other schools are as bad or worse, does not make our behavior acceptable.

Also, the people who voted against the Civil Rights Act were for the most part Democrats. So lets ban them from Tiger Stadium.

Fair enough. But the general consensus in the discourse that is the confderate flag is that this is the current meaning. You fly it at your peril. I don't care whaty you do personally, just letting you know how you'll be perceived.

Agree with orginal post. Have a fun time, rag on Alabama, have a few pops but please refrain from being an over the top jerk. Hopefully common sense and good sportsmanhip will come into play
