What specifically is “dumb” smart guy? OP didn’t “pretty much” say anything. Dude specifically said no one gets a financial award, plaque or recognition for supporting a player’s decision to skip the bowl game. I asked if those things are gained by NOT supporting that stance...and if dude could show us his financial award, plaque or recognition for taking HIS stance. Still waiting...

It’s not about players leaving or staying.
It’s about these “fans” on here damn near giddy about them departing from team.
That’s what I have issue with.
Mark my words, if Devin white for some reason decides to stay there will be posters here that will post in an upset way about it.

No...it’s about YOU not giving a shite about the individual unless they do what YOU feel is the “right” thing to do based on the opinion and beliefs of YOU AND OTHERS LIKE YOU. The problem here is that a players’ future HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU OR OTHERS LIKE YOU...or me or anyone else. It’s THEIR decision...they’ve earned it.

If I was a 1st round draft pick maybe a 2nd I would go pro as a junior. Almost every time.... if I was a 2nd or lower i would think i would come back to improve my draft position. But i 100% understand one of these guys need to go make some money off there bodies b4 ther knees ankles and other joints have to much wear and tear. It's a choice they are making not you.
Do I hope they come back yes. Am I going to hate on them and call them quitters and make threads bashing them if I dont agree with their decision.. i hope not and I hope I dont ever sound like the selfish idiot that is you.

You dudes are an embarrassment to the program. Nobody likes players leaving early, but we understand the business of football and life. Y’all need to stop bitching like school girls who can’t get their way. At the end of the day, life is about making smart decisions.

OP is quite possibly the most selfish person in the world...
Thanks to all the student athletes for what they have done with their time here. If they wish to sit this meaningless bowl game out as they move on and open up the opportunity for those behind them...more power to them.
You'd think that getting younger kids more experience in their position instead of letting a senior who is moving on to the next level WOULD be more beneficial to the team but who knows...maybe its not.
If you think a recruit or donor isn't going to go to LSU or give money to LSU because they didn't win the nonCFP fiesta bowl...then well...

Yeah someone could get upset when they see a young adult making a choice what they think to be folly. Doesnt not mean it was not the right choice just means it isnt what they would do. Who cares. Personally I want what's best for the players that have played at lsu. What happened to some of my favorite players in wilkerson, mills and some other players I do not wish on anyone I'm rooting for. They leave early n make some money I'll be happy for them hopefully they are a high draft pick and have exhausted what lsu can do for their draft stock
