I've always appreciated every W and I take no SEC games for granted. I don't mind my heart beating on the outside of my chest for the kind of ending we saw today. I loved it. That last drive was a beautiful thing. Landry's catch was mighty fine.

That was one of the funnest nail biting games of the season. The last few minutes had me yelling all the way from California. When Neck came on, it had my hyped like I was in Tiger Stadium. Whew! What a finish to the season!

I had a good time at the game BUT...CBS sucks!!!
It's difficult to remain standing and continue cheering when they break for a commercial every few minutes. You may not notice it from home but when you're at the game it royally sucks.
Four hours is too long for a game. I swear the little CBS jerk with the red hat stood on the field for five minutes stalling the game and then after one play, he returned to the field for another five minutes of commercials.
I understand the contract and the SEC HQ's greed for more money but at what point is enough...enough? Let them play the damn game!!!
It's bad enough we can't play at night but at least let us stay in a uninterrupted rhythm for more than a few minutes at a time. I've been attending games in Tiger Stadium for over 30 years and this is the worst part of every game.
Many people around my seats voiced their opinion as well. We joked how we could stay home and wash the car, cut the grass, etc. and still not miss a single play due to the excessive commercial breaks.
Hey SEC HQ in Gumpville, Alabama...pull you head out of your arse and fix this! Stop ruining our game day experience for your own benefit.
GEAUX TIGERS - Great comeback!

You have to admit its a bit frustrating to see this defense today compared to last week.
Frustrating, yes, but not totally unexpected. Our defense is more suited to stopping a spread offense than a power offense. So we contained TAM but not so against Arkansas, etc. That is what you get with smaller, quicker??? LBs.
That said....,a win is a win is a win!
We win 14 games a year like the one yesterday and guess what the college football world calls us ???
Buckle up, Tiger fans...this off season is gonna be crazy !

It was only fun because we had very little to play for. If an sec or national title was involved, it wouldnt have been. Sorry, but i hope we are back to being nervous and worried next year

It's taken two years, but with aTm last week and the pigs this week it seemed to me that fans were finally enjoying themselves in the stadium again. Being in constant contention for national championships makes us lose sight of just how nice it is to win an SEC game, no matter how "meaningless". Nice win tigers.
This is a great post!!

come on man. last week i would have agreed with you. yesterday was miserable until the magic of the last drive. it is what it is.

If you live long enough, you come to know that it's often the journey and not the destination that bring the most happiness. Tiger fans who know this enjoy each win, particularly last night's in Death Valley.

However, saying that you're glad we won the way we did today rather than win in a convincing manner is just plain stupid.
No, I'm pretty sure you're just plain stupid.

Emptying out at halftime?

And pulling the rabbit out of the hat under durress was a great feeling. Had my 7yo with me and the kid jump hugged me after the AJ TD pass.

Great post.
LSU winning in the last few minutes with the players we had on the field was the icing on the cake for a very exciting game to watch.
I am very happy it ended the way it did, because if the Tigers had lost the Rant would be have exploded my PC!!!

2 years? Were you not at Bama or USCe last season? The atmosphere was way better.

I truly haven't felt this way after a win in a long time. I don't care that it was Arky. The game was amazing.

If you got to the game for the actual game (and not because "we're good"), that was an awesome game yesterday. Opponent challenging you every step of the way. Adversity keeps getting dumped on your plate, and you overcome it each time.
Arkansas starting to pull away... Hill breaks a long run to pull us back. Lose one of your all-conference WRs- ok, the other one makes some insane plays despite being the obvious guy to focus on. Need to keep scoring; ok we lose our all-conference QB (on a play he stood in and completed)... and we are down to one last chance, have to drive literally the length of the field. And we do.
It's nice to blow someone out, but it's a lot more exciting to win a game like this.
