It's taken two years, but with aTm last week and the pigs this week it seemed to me that fans were finally enjoying themselves in the stadium again. Being in constant contention for national championships makes us lose sight of just how nice it is to win an SEC game, no matter how "meaningless". Nice win tigers.

I would have rather won the way we did today. Than for everything to go as planned and LSU win by 28. Maybe we're premature on AJ. But DAMNIT it's been TWO YEARS since LSU has left a hopeful pleasant taste for me to enjoy the entire off season. We win the bowl and I'll be on cloud 9!

You have to admit its a bit frustrating to see this defense today compared to last week.

I spent 20 years years hoping to win and the last 10 years afraid to lose.

It's hard to say which one is better.

It hurts to admit, but the OP is right. I often catch myself being that pissed off fan that expects too much, but those few losses have been a blessing in disguise.

I was the most frustrated, angry, nervous, anxious guy at the bar. I was bitching say we're the most inconsistent team blah blah blah. All that was forever erased from my memory when 6 Heismans threw up that bomb and finished the 99 yard drive.

Why on earth would you feel this way?

Don't get me wrong. I'm very happy that we won. I won't ever be unhappy that we won.

However, saying that you're glad we won the way we did today rather than win in a convincing manner is just plain stupid.

No it's not. Winning in a convincing manner would have been nice, but seeing AJ drive 99 yards was the most exciting LSU football experience I've had the last couple years. I'm excited about our future QB. A blowout win wouldn't give me the same excitement. It will be one of my fondest memories as an LSU fan as long as I live.

Pretty much. Every game matters and every victory is great, no matter how it was earned.

Tiger Rag made it's return to Tiger Stadium, we devastated Arky fans with an unlikely 4th quarter comeback, and we got a glimpse of the future with Jennings.

Today was a damn good day. Negatigers can STTDB.

One of my favorite games is 2010 Tennessee. That's one I'll remember 30 years from now.

Do you hold the comeback win against Troy in 2008 in your fondest memories as well?

Nope that one wasn't on TV here in SC so it's kind of a blank spot for me. Totally different external circumstances to both games though. I'd compare this one to Tenn 2010, Auburn 05, Oregon State 04. Hard to say where this one fits. 08 was just a dark time for us as a Fan base haha

Undoubtedly so.

Sometimes we can be happy with the win, but also recognize how we almost fricked it up.

I'm damn happy that we won. At the same time, I'm disappointed at our showing today against a far inferior team than the aTm we dominated a week ago.

For whatever reason, the team came out against aTm last week with fire, and they were absolutely dominant.

Today, we played down to a 3-8 (0-7 in SEC) and squeaked out a win. A win is a win.

A dramatic cliffhanger? Yes.

Up to the potential they proved they have last week? No.

It was definitely nice to see Jennings show some serious moxie and get the win. Great potential.
