That facebook link reminds me of how many stupid frickers there are drooling around out there. One dude is blaming the "thug" behavior of our players on the field for incidents off the field.

Where were the WV fans??? If some jackass LSU fans started doing this type of thing to a visitor in Baton Rouge, it would be the Tiger fans stepping in and stopping the bullshite.

wow. words cannot express how happy i am to be done with WVU. have heard story after story of how shitty their fans are/were. i know its not all, but they seem to have an awful lot for such a red headed stepchild of a team/conference.

Maybe not. But you are going to have to understand that this story is really just now taking off.

People, especially LSU fans, are going to be outraged.

I just hope that these fricking animals are caught soon.

No, he is saying you stay in your car and say nothing. You can get a dent and paint job fixed.

Randy Smith, Hannah's father, said three men attempted to drag two of the couples' friends from the back seat before grabbing Marcus. They then pulled him out of the vehicle and started beating him.

They broke the car window by throwing a rock and shattering it. Also, they were pulled out of the car and beaten. No one "got out".

I guess asking the attackers not to beat them to death was uncalled for though.

There's definitely some insensitive, inflammatory jackasses on that site, but there seems to a ton more classy individuals who have heartfelt sympathy for the victims and are embarrassed that it happened at the school that they love. Unfortunately, this could happen anywhere...I just pray it never happens here.

Agree. But damn it pisses me off. That could have very easily been me and my family. Or friends of ours. We try to make at least two road games every year. Missed this one due to work schedule.

The fan response does seem to be improving over there, though. As I said before, real CFB fans are going to universally condemn this shite. There is never a case for justification of violence due to whatever team you support. And it may not be the case here. But it looks bad.

This isn't all that shocking considering the president of the Univ there doesn't seem to have a problem with his coach dropping Fbombs the entire game.

That's a reasonable conclusion.

It's not a conclusion smart guy, it's an observation. Bottom line, if you're so butt hurt over a football beat down that you attack someone in traffic after the game... Just wow.

The attackers were lucky they were not SHOT DEAD ON THE SPOT. The people in the car would have had the right in self defense for their life. In no way were the attackers interested in a fair fight. They were real tough ganging up on people with far less numbers. This is disgusting. Shame on WV and that hillbilly trash. SHAME on them.

I don't understand why people keep saying this. Could it really happen anywhere? Because it doesn't. Random assault on people including pregnant woman in the middle of a traffic jam and NOBODY does anything to help? It could happen in Nebraska? Texas A&M? I call bullshite and say that this rarely happens and it DOES speak poorly of WVU and its fans.

That's the part that bothers me the most. Batter a pregnant woman? Worse than that...supposedly in a jam-packed area with stop and go traffic and people just....sat and watched the beat down?

No. That shite DOES NOT happen everywhere. And ANYWHERE that it does happen is not a place that I would like to live or would be populated by people that I would wish to associate myself with. I'm not talking about the morons who hopefully will be arrested but the people that sat and watched.

Have you read their board and all of the posts here?

You posted, "anywhere." Semantics.
