LSU Fan Diversity Day. Which Kind of a-hole are You?

How do you deal with the frustrations of being irrelevant this year? There is certainly a way too natural flow of butthurt on the rant since Arkansas shut us out and Bret Bielema was awarded his first win in the SEC. How embarrassing is it to be his first win when he was 0-17 coming into last weekend. Before that night, I would have told you that Bielema would have had a better shot at beating his wife than my Tigers... I was wrong....We didn't even kick a field goal. I have seen that movie before(1/9).
This year, we have certainly seen a decline from the normal seasons that Miles has been accustomed to producing(10 win+). Many posters would agree with me that LSU fans are amonst the most divided in all of sports with all sorts of assholes out there.
Before we get in the holiday spirit this year, I would like you to think about which kind of a-hole are you? Lets roll through some examples.
PerfectoTiger- When things go south, he reminds everyone how much of a better and more loyal fan he is than all other tiger fans. Blind Miles apologist. Always has the best excuses and stats that would back up Miles being the greatest ever.. yet ignores all facts that contradict otherwise. Sets unusually low standards and expectations so that he can make weak arguments that he believes point to Miles overachieving ever year even thou we are not winning any meaningful team awards(SECw,SEC,NationalTitle,High caliber bowl game etc..) Huge criticizer of other people who don't believe in Miles. Loves the coach more than the program. Has no faith that we can find anyone else to coach team even thou the coaching profression has produced many talented people in the NFL and college ranks.
Negatiger- Glass always half empty for this tiger. We never beat the opponents bad enough. We always underachieve every year. A lot easier for him to blame Miles even though it may not even be fair to point a finger to any coach much less the head coach. Ever year for this fan is the year we enter into the decline. Points to behavior of team as Miles losing control. Grass isn't greener on the other side type.
Positiger - This guy is the annoying type who goes out of the way to only shove positive points into any discussion about the football program. Very possibly has never been anything but a fan his whole life and whom has never constructively criticized Miles in anyway. Simply put this fan rapes you with information that is only positive aka Sunshine Pumper.
GrammaTiger - Hides most feelings about the football program. Only lurks to frustrate people with simple grammatical mistakes to sabotage the real discussion. This fan is under the delusion that it aids to the validation that he is a superiorly gifted person.
Lets not rock the boat people. Some people may be reading this and may be finding out for the first time what a predictable a-hole they are to fellow tiger fans. We all get bent out of shape when we lose. There are plenty of things to feel good about going forward with the young talent that is on this team. It can't be any worse than it is right now for this program so the only thing to do now is improve.

i'm one of the weird ones that doesn't let a sport played by college kids affect my life at all whatsoever.

RealisticTiger, and after the Bama loss, I moved on to 2015. I'll watch the last 2 games to see if the youth coming back next season is improving.

Positiger with the occasional gramma.

Im the kind of LSU a-hole that proudly displays his LSU colors midst the Gumptards of bamanation, subjecting myself to criticism and ridicule 24-7. I keep the faith. I attend as many games as my meager income allows and all though I may be frustrated at times with the way things go, I will always and forever be a fighting tiger.
Geaux Tigers.
Geaux Tigers.

I'm just a fan. Watching LSU football brings me joy...it always has. Winning, losing...I love the experience of it. if it did not, like it seems to be the case for so many on this board, I'd find something more enjoyable to do with my time and money.
I'm not a player or a coach. I have no real steak in the outcome of games. That means I see no reason to pound my chest when LSU wins or feel "embarrassed" when LSU loses. I do not live vicariously through the successes or failures of the team, though I will largely because of habit refer to them as "us" or "we."
The people that seem to have the hardest problem with all of this are those that link themselves too closely to the program. When LSU wins, there are some that feel it was a group thing...that they were part of it and therefore can crow about it to fans of OTHER programs who ALSO too closely link themselves to that program. And when LSU loses, the reverse happens. It's why you read stupid comments about how hard it is to live such and such a place, or dealing with co-workers, etc.
Try taking a step back and realizing that you're simply not part of the program in any sense other than being a booster. You don't get a ring or a letter jacket. You're JUST a fan who has virtually zero control over any of this.
As much as I love LSU football...I'm just a fan.

Realistic tigers are out there. Usually formed opinions that were pro miles a while back or against him. Now you can't defend it anymore and tell everyone it doesn't affect your life. Good shite we shall add to the list.

I consider myself a girthytiger. Just like length is less important than girth. Winning is less important than prestige. No matter what happens in our season, or to our program, I always know that I'm better than most people, because I'm a tiger fan.
