I was about to post the same thing but not as nicely as you. It had to be an accident unless they have no soul.

Weeks? No, more like 1 day.

Cardio the day of donation is a very poor decision that will be regretted immediately...been there, done that.

Probably just a fat finger. Surely no one did that on purpose.

Wade is in my thoughts and prayers. He’s one of the biggest Tiger fans I know. He will pull through this because he is a fighter. But he needs our help. I will be traveling to Lafayette to donate blood for him and I urge any of you that can to do so as well.

Last September, I received four units of blood that saved my life. Thank you all for making the time to donate blood.

I am also sure that the first downvote to my post will be from him.

I understand if you don’t want to donate. Some people just can’t. But why put a negative spin on this?"

Apparently it was an a..hole. I don't understand how some people can be so hateful.

Somebody asked "Any place in Houston to donate?"
Same question from me. I donate bi-monthly at LINK /. Can they direct that my pint of blood go to Wade? Driving to Lafayette is not feasible.

Complete definitive report from the NTSB won’t be finalized and made public for 12 to 18 months. No black box means the investigators have to spend more time researching the facts and recreating the events which led to this tragic event.

I’m O- and CMV- (Cytomegalovirus). That’s what you’re talking about. I used to donate frequently but was angry last time I went because instead of taking blood they took blood platelets. Didn’t tell me, they just did it. I haven’t been back in over 5 years. Perhaps it’s time to reconsider.

For those around Acadiana wishing to donate after hours, they are working on getting a mobile unit to show up in Church Point, maybe on a Sunday near the Church. This thread will be updated with that information once it is lined up.

EDIT: Blood Drive will be held on Sunday, January 19, 10AM till 2PM in the Church Point City Hall Parking Lot.
