If there is a chance to sign a Top 25 player or two who is likely to be a star or major contributor right away then pay the going rate .Other wise the short term focus should be on landing a couple of hammers from the portal. There ae enough complimentary pieces from this year's freshmen players and the incoming class plus a healthy Reed and Collins down low. A player like Cam Carter should be the floor for a 3 to 4 man portal class, maybe get that diamond in the rough like Tari Eason.

I don't remember the two names, and it's possible they could be full of prune juice.
But when I hear it, (and I KNOW I heard it from a UR booster), and then a couple of other posters here who claim to have an LSU source confirm it, to me that makes it pretty legit.

This is probably the first time we will celebrate every player that hits the transfer portal. Better make your life and career elsewhere than in this sinking ship.
