I wish they would put Mingo at the Mike LB

MLB should be the best run stuffer on the team. Can you say that about Mingo? Mingo will be a 3-4 OLB in the NFL BTW.

If frickin Al Woods can go in the 3rd after the lack of production in college he had, I can see anyone in our current dline rotation getting drafted

Yes, not what I'm saying though.

OP put Benny as TBD and Brockers being drafted.

Benny > Brockers so he will be drafted.

Dont unterstand the TBD tag.

Fell the same way, he will be a good NFL pass rusher.

WHY

Because height, speed, and tackling. I think he has the strength to handle centers and full backs. I am not sure about his cover skills but in zone I think his speed would be an asset. In the pros he will be a outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Doesn't have size to play Mike in pros but LSU I would like to see it.....just my opinion.

Im more sold on Logan than ever before. I don't know about any of our linebackers yet. Free agents or late picks at best.

Bennie'll get drafted, but not sure he's better than Brockers. they're neck and neck basically, and as far as draft status goes, Brockers is likely higher at this point. he's bigger and may be a bit more versatile as either a 3-4 DE (provided Tyson Jackson hasn't soured NFL teams too much on LSU DL) or 4-3 DT. still early though.

Minter and Baker would be my TBDs. Minter's just starting to play, and Baker's production is way down from last yr. not good when you're gonna measure up at 5'10-11ish.

Bennie Logan is going to get drafted. He's only a sophomore and he'll be 300lbs when he leaves, he also has speed that most DT's at other schools don't have. At the least he'll be a 3rd pick. The really bad-arse thing is all the 1st round potential in the starting lineup.

Ryan Baker is another Perry Riley who got drafted in the 4th round by the Redskins. Both are similar in size with Baker having a little more speed to burn. Won't be surprised if Baker goes around the 4th round also. Excluding converted safeties, I believe every starting LSU LB has been drafted since Ali Highsmith.

Only one I can think of is Manny Lawson. I think he played DE for NC State. He was an ILB for the 49ers but now plays OLB for the Bengals.

Logan has looked very good, but Brockers was so freaking dominant against florida that I just can't agree with ya on this one.

Size, speed, but most of all on the field performance.

Not only would these three current backups start at Auburn, they would be hands down the top three players on your D.

Yes, he was but I also have seen him play inside often for the 49ers because of his inability to get to the QB. He was moved around quite a bit. 6'4" seems to be the limit on inside backers.
