Only win by a touchdown, one extra point, and two field goals. That’s one way.

Please explain, I count thirteen points by your way and that still leaves LSU not covering.
TD-6
Extra point-1
(2) field goals

You're right (re Home Field points), but crowd has very little to do with it. The primary reason Home Field is worth points is bc players get to sleep in their own beds, follow their usual schedule, don't have travel fatigue, have a familiar locker room, etc.

Disagree and coaches have backed this up over the years. It’s why they plead for everyone to come. I feel like Vegas is over shooting this

Lsu defense still has work to do. They could be up 17 or so and Missouri scores garbage td. This is such a crazy year mizzou could also win outright.

This makes sense. Take the original line, subtract our 3 points for the home field advantage and add it to the other side, and this is what you get. I will take the Tigers (the purple and gold ones).

certainly the energy of the crowd has an effect. But these are D-I athletes who don't typically wilt based on crowd noise.

The earlier poster is correct - a large part of the home field advantage is that the visitors have to travel, and are completely out of their element and comfort zone. And any travel (even easy travel via airplane) is tiring, as most of us know.
