dstone12: Keep these threads coming. Can you make one for entire 2020?

I've been keeping them updated as best I can, brother.

Key:
• Positions in purple boxes will rotate in/out based upon formation.
• The numbers (60-99) in yellow boxes reflect a formula based upon 247sports composite ratings + experience, awards, etc. This is meant to reflect a somewhat objective approach to creating an Overall rating for players in the NCAA Football '14 video game. Rosters can be found on the OperationSports website.

Players:
Stingley should be rated between 96-98 due to the All American status. What I have reflects his formula-based score +10 for the award.
• The coaching staff has said that they are trying to figure out where Liam Shanahan will play. He was listed 3rd at RG by Coach O in an interview on Off the Bench. Most fans, however, expect him to end up at Center. I have no rating for him because he was not rated by 247sports.
Cam Wire and Thomas Perry had been moved from RT to LT at the beginning of the Spring in order to compete while Dare Rosenthal was out.
* When asked who the #3 WR would be, one of the coaches brought up Racey McMath.

I love how everyone still sleeping on Chris Curry.. I think he will have a Brossette type of LSU career

I think he will start the first couple games and get the lion share of carries early, then split with the other two guys. O trusted him more than TDP and Emery against OU

This team is as talented as last year except a few question marks.

Obviously Brennan taking over the Offense. OL has plenty of talent and experience for replacing 4 starters but how quickly will they gel and how will Brennan help them be better than they are like Burrow did.

Except for the Freshmen, the DE's are all 3 stars or JUCO transfers that haven't been impact players when they got on the field. They are also probably the least experienced position group.

O said that Anthony Bradford is probably the most talented o lineman on the team so i'll go with him at the RG position

Harris as SS right? Didn't he play SS when he was healthy?

Curry will be day 1 starter. Much like Brosette, he will be rewarded for staying. IMO.

Racey McMath is the #3 WR. More than 1 coach has said it at this point.

Arik is starting. Coach O raves about him without being prompted. He's in love.

I think Marshall is at least 90 overall. If you watched "One For the Ages", he was catching a lot of TDs.

Devonta Lee is second-team at the Will LB. Expected to see Lee at safety, but LB makes sense. I wonder if they'll keep him around 223 pounds or put another 15 or 20 lbs on him.

I like that lineup.. Jabril Cox was such a good pickup. The only thing I wish we could see is flip flopping Marcel Brooks and Jacoby Stevens. I like Hampton more than any other safety currently. Feel bad for those guys who have waited their turn at that position and at linebacker, but let the best man play. If Myles goes down, we may be looking a little rough. I also have a weird hunch that if Emery doesnt get more touches this year he may start exploring his options. Hope that wouldn't be true, but I think he is the most talented of the running backs.

THIS, he is going to have a HUGE season. Pro-typical NFL WR body with speed/YAC. AJ Green-like with ability to go up and get the ball and make catches across the field.

I hope Curry has a better career than the most lackluster RB LSU has had on their team in 2 decades.

Random thought: The recent JUCO guys we have signed have been nonexistent. Badara Traore didnt contribute and Traveze Moore hasnt made any type of impact.

True, but you’re forgetting a very impactful JUCO player.......,

Can we sticky those?

It’s really telling the whole story of depth and what we should do for recruiting.

They are way better than my depth charts and would you consider making one for the 2021 RB?

I don't know if it is a coaches' decision, a players' decision, or both, but I just don't see Stevens's future being at safety.

His biggest weakness is man coverage vs. WR's. But he is a solid tackler and very good around the LOS/in the box. He's listed at almost the identical size as Patrick Queen who was just drafted in the first round as a LB. There is no reason Stevens couldn't perform that same role and potentially follow suit in next year's draft. But I doubt he would be picked in the first round (maybe two rounds) as strictly a safety.
