LSU Depth Chart (Post Spring) [1 image]

Here is my observation-based Depth Chart.
• DEf and DEb indicate "field" and "boundary" respectively.
• DTL and DTR indicate "Left" and "Right" respectively.
• Incoming players start at the bottom of their position groups.
PREDICTIONS
• Now that LSU has 8 scholarship DTs, I suspect Kimo Makane’ole could move back to RG to replace the outgoing Joseph Cryer. Otherwise, a walk-on would be the backup during Summer practice.
• Obviously, Jayviar Suggs will not wear #7 at LSU, but that was the number he wore at Grand Valley State in the videos I watched. There is a picture of him wearing what looks like #90. The picture only shows the top of his jersey.
• Javien Toviano is another player to watch for movement during the Summer, and the STAR position only has two players there now that Ryan Yaites hit the transfer portal.
• Shone Washington is the highest rated incoming DT transfer, but he didn't exactly show out during the Spring Game. Perhaps we should temper our expectations for the lower-rated Gio Paez and Jay'Viar Suggs.
• LSU might look toward the portal to pick up another Safety, CB, and/or Punter.

Nice work. I always like free scotch produces, well, usually.

Good work. Dt will be heavily rotated. Going to see alot of hybrid fronts, pressure from different angles, and rotating guillory, shone, suggs, paez constantly all game. It won't be these 2 dts are the line for 10 play drives. Add mckinley, and maybe pop shand or others inside on 3rd and pass rush formations.
Tenn de would be a big get in the portal. 6'5 260 can be used in many ways in baker scheme

Just adding one DT makes me feel 10x better

Ashton Stamps position will get took by Toviano. I expect Jy’aire Brown and JK Johnson to be opposite. I overall feel good about the CB spot, would have felt even better if Jeremiah Hughes stayed

Is number in parentheses the total snaps played? That is an awesome statistic I have not seen before. Gives great perspective to experience of starters and backups. Cool!!!

2-3 losses, hope it's 2 and that should get you in the playoff. Overall I think this roster is good, not great, tons of question marks, obviously on defense. I think we all just assume WR will be good, but I am not 100% sold on that spot either. Look I hope to be wrong, but that is what I see right now.

Well-done on the information density, but you left off the kick returners!

Why do we have 6 TE's???

Then it’s kind of a worthless exercise. Suggs wasn’t signed to never see the field.

Unless he has dropped a half second off his forty time, I will lose my shite if I have to watch Greg Penn on the field for more snaps than Whit Weeks.

4 scholarship and two walk-ons, pretty standard roster allotment.

Ashton Stamps
I expect him to be better

I think Brown starts at CB and either Stamps or JK Johnson. I think Woodland rotates with those 3 until Zy is healthy.
IMO, they want the Tennessee kid to transfer here and place him at star. He'll rotate with Burns and might even start. If Burns isn't doing right. Confused on where Toviano will end up going.
I think CJ Daniels starts at the slot. I just do not see Aaron Anderson yet. Yeah I know he has the athleticism, but I think CJ Daniels with his experience, toughness, and speed, is the best option and needs to be starting. I can see Anderson as his backup. I think Daniels is the immediate backup to both boundary spots too to tell you the truth.
