Les needs to put this kid into a room with JC Copeland and tell JC that Brazil is thinking of trying out at linebacker.

So if Brazil choked/punched your daughter you would view that in the same way as if Hill punched your son in a fight outside of a bar? You're special.

If a kid hit my daughter, I'd let the police handle it. If they didn't, then I'd handle it myself. Depending on the severity, I wouldn't scream for him to be banished from the team for it.

Again, what part of 3 games for this incident which is exactly 3 times what Hill got saying what each did is the same?

Both are bad acts, both are punishable, and given what people are hearing right now, its not enough in my mind to kick the kid off the team. Let things play out.

What if Hill got in trouble again, though?

eta: It's barely been a month since Brazil's misdemeanor.

If Hill got in trouble again, he has bigger issues to worry about than being on this team or not.

I've already said just for this incident Brazil should be suspended 3 games or so. If you add in his previous digressions than he likely just needs to sit for the year. Kicking him off right now won't solve anything or help anyone.

All I'm saying is there is a big difference between hitting a dude and hitting a chick and the consequences will not be the same. If it were a bar fight I would agree with you but if it's true he shoved/grabbed a girl by the neck then I will be surprised if he's still on the team.

I wonder if he'll really be kicked off the team for one incident?

Well apparently this is his second incident, and to be honest with you punching a dude even though it is totally unacceptable and there are consequences "which Hill and JJ paid" throwing a woman onto a sofa by her neck is completely not acceptable. And as much as I don't want MIles to throw away talent, sometimes you the offense warrants it. I know women can provoke a lot of crap that men do, but you have to have self control. Unless she hit him, struck him in someway that he had to defend himself you can't excuse what he did as much as I hate to say that. I don't want to see potentially a great athlete get kicked off the team. But sometimes their actions warrant it and striking, hitting or choking a woman is an offense that warrants every time unless it is self defense, and even in those cases it is kinda iffy.

Didn't get to your post before I posted, couldn't agree more. Unless it is self defense, unfortunately you got to let him go.

If he got kicked off now, spent a year at MGCC and stayed clean Aub, OM, MSU, and Tenn. would all definitely go after him.

Ole Miss wanted him bad and they were his distant 2nd choice, he even took an OV there right before signing day. Idk if HF would take him now though.

ETA: If he pulled a Mett and spent a year in JUCO/cleaned up his act a lot of programs would probably give him another chance. Dude broke Trindon's HS track records and is 6'2 175.

Absolute total bullshite. Somethings are forgivable somethings are not, striking, hitting, slapping, choking or physically abusing a woman in anyway is unacceptable unless in self-defense. Unfortunately for that type of behavior there is a steep price that is usually paid, in this case it should be getting kicked off the team. You just can't show the other players that this is in anyway will be tolerated so it doesn't happen again. And if it does they consequences are known.
