Very true. Why are they called Johnny Football?

I agree with Alatgr. This whole set up smells of flatness. Like that 1997 ole miss feeling. God, I hope I'm wrong.

I've been thinking the same thing.

Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like at kickoff in college station?

When the hell did swagger become the most popular word in the world and everyone has to use it to describe everything? Is it rap culture?

Of course, Too Frat, this is miles. Wee never had to worry about emotion/desire with his teams. This is not the Gerry era.

Pretty much impossible to predict yes we will come out with swag.

More sun than clouds. Warm. 86 °F, Wind: 12.50 mph/S

They gonna come out flat, especially with an 11am kickoff.

I don't know, man. I think they'll be ready.

If we don't turn the ball over more than once, complete some passes downfield, and actually score TD's instead of FG's every other red zone attempt, we win by 24.

Swagger and swagger is better. Usually the problems would be overthrown balls, missed blocks because of lunging, etc. It is easier to settle a team down than to get them more amped up, particularly on the road.

A win over LSU would prove that the Aggies can be competitive with the elite programs in the SEC right now. It would mean that a lot of national pundits would have to eat crow.
For LSU, a win would just reinforce that it is still an elite SEC program. Right now, A&M has proved they are a middle-of-the-pack SEC team. A win by LSU would just be another solid win on its resume as it tries to make a case for a BCS bowl game.
I really, really hope we can get up for this.

The 11 a.m. kickoff could be the start of a long day if LSU's defense isn't sharp against freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel and the Aggies' prolific offense.
This.
What's needed is for Minter, Sam and Kiki to "meet at the quarterback" a few times the first couple of series.
Johnny Football needs to knocked on his butt a few times right away, or it will likely be a long day.

we still got too many guys with stuff to prove to be flat IMO. yeah I'm looking at you Mett, Hard Hittin' Hilliard, and Jeremy Hill. (Hill always has something to prove IMO).
and the D has too much to be flat. it's gonna be a fight with these dudes, esp. with their QB who I think will give us fits. but we'll be up for it.

The greatest part of the South Carolina game was the throw to Jarvis Landry. Granted, it was a little behind him but this is the first time all season Mett has had the time to let our WRs come across the field. We actually gave him a pocket! More of this could help with a nice drive and not opening flat on Saturday. Time in the pocket
