If he's a scapegoat, then he needs to be turned into chevon and served up on a platter.
Miles' job should have been on the line but NOT bc of the last 3 games. It is bc time and time again he has proven he is stubborn like an ox and refuses to change. OCs have come and gone yet the offense and QB development remain the same.
Miles should've been given an ultimatum. Allow an OC to bring LSU's offense into the 21st century w/o Miles' control or show Miles the door.

Alleva wasn't the source of the leaks. The coaching staff and BoS were.
Alleva made a clear statement that no decision had been made. The AD was working on a deal with Jimbo. Everyone knowing the deal was not finalized was the mistake. The "leaks" start coming out to force Alleva's hand on the coaching decisions and negotiation. It wasn't the other way around. What would Alleva gain from the leaks other than lose his own negotiating power behind the scenes?
This whole fiasco was created to force the AD into a bad position. The coverage after the game was obviously staged to a degree.
