LSU chants at Jason Aldean concert Lafayette

LSU chanting when football was brought up during concert and chanting walking out the concert.
I thought Lafayette didn’t like LSU.

Actually I believe there are more LSU fans here in Lafayette than ULL or USL fans. Boy that makes the ULL fans pissed.

Actually they are triggered when you call it ULL, even though that is the official name of the university. They want to be known as UL. Guess they forgot about the other UL, ULM who has the same status as do they as a regional university.

There are tons of LSU fans in Lafayette. It’s just that the USL fans are major bandwagon fans.
That’s why you saw so many Bama stickers on trucks in Lafayette. It was people that didn’t like LSU and could pull for a winner in Bama.
Since we beat them I haven’t seen nearly as many Bama stickers.
I honestly believe people are taking them off their vehicles because they no longer can use Bama to propel themselves over LSU fans.

I still refer to them as southwestern Louisiana. That is all that they will ever be to me.

When I lived in Laffy, LSU lost to Miss State. I had to go to ULL that following week for an event on campus, and I swear I saw about 100 MSU shirts. It was hilarious.

Why can’t they cheer for both?

I cheer for UL anytime they’re not playing LSU. No I didnt go there, I’m just a fan of the state and not a prick. You should try it.

I went to both USL and LSU and I pull for both teams as long as they aren’t playing LSU. But I will say they absolutely hate LSU in my eyes it’s actually comical.

The Cajundome is pretty legit (I’ve actually read it’s the second most expensive venue in America to book after MSG for Pete’s sake) but yeah you couldn’t pay me to go to a Jason Aldean show

A lot of the hate stims from the basketball death penalty they got back in the day. Old school fans blame them getting caught cheating on LSU. I sat through a whole lesson in Louisiana History at ULAla on this subject.
