LSU can't play around with Michigan State

The Tigers have a bad habit of getting a big lead and allowing the opponent to storm back. Against MSU, the Tigers need to be sharp every second on the game. They have a veteran coach, and given the chance, his team will bury LSU quickly. Can't afford mental lapses, stupid fouls and not having everyone playing at their best. LSU clearly can beat MSU, but the stakes and competition are much higher and there is no room for mistakes!

Guess we should forfeit. Thanks for the insight. We’ve played that way with everyone since December and been pretty successful.

They aren’t juggernauts everyone’s making it out like we don’t have a chance. If anything to me they looked sloppy and a team we could impose our will on. Tigers roll in this one

My main takeaway from their game last night was that Minnesota is just not very good.

MSU looked like a strong team, but so have a lot of teams LSU has beaten.

My speculation is that if our bigs can stay out of foul trouble, we'll be in it late with a chance to win.

Minnesota was one of the most inconsistent teams all year. When they’re bad, they’re really bad. They lost by 27 to Illinois

Didn’t get to see the Kentucky game this year. How much did we get down by at Rupp? Did LSU win? What’s Kentucky seeded?

I didn't say LSU couldn't beat MSU. I said they can't continue to play at the level they are playing now and win in the NCAA tourney consistently. Yale and Maryland almost beat LSU and they don't even come close to the talent of MSU. The point I was making was LSU needs to take it up a level and play consistent if they want to win.

Can you idiots that just want to post some smart-arse remark every time someone posts something create your own message board! Some people on here would like to have a decent discussion without you DAs always putting in your two cents!

Wait, you're saying we should take a team that's a two seed and made it to the Sweet Sixteen seriously?

Wow. You must be some kind of basketball savant.

This is the same shite y'all said about Maryland.

And Tenn.

And Tucky.

Let them play. Don't put pressure on them.

If it comes down to final possessions, give me LSU over anyone else in the nation.

You clearly forgot about that :15 seconds we didn't have the lead. Of course it was the first 15 seconds of the game, but still... we were playing with fire
