Auburn got swept this weekend by Ole Miss.

We also need Ole Miss to get swept next weekend by Alabama in Tuscaloosa (not likely) and for Arkansas to get swept by Georgia in Athens (could happen).

So, I'm saying.....wait for it........wait.......there's a chance!

Will still have a better record than A&M most likely in a year they were supposed to make a jump in conference.

By ducking the Top 2 teams in the East and playing the three cellar dwellers. Let's not sugar coat it, this was a soft conference schedule and will still be lucky to make it to .500. Probably why the RPI has been hanging out in the 50s, well below most of the conference. Worst RPI in the conference tournament right now.

Don’t work hard = playing Florida and Georgia

Work smart = playing Missouri and Tennessee

Yep, that only goes as far as records are concerned though. When it comes to evaluating the team for any postseason rankings and brackets, it is that old saying "if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best!!"

RPI is hanging in the 50s because we are 3-12 on the road, have lost 4 midweek games, and lost a home series to Notre Dame

LSU doesn’t make the schedule.

Let’s be honest LSU’s not beating Florida this year but what does it matter regular season?

That is bullshite, if you want to say Florida is the better team then from their records no one can disagree with that. But to say LSU isn't beating Florida that is total bullshite. LSU is a decent team that if our pitching is going well we can beat anyone in the country. But there is no question that at this moment Florida is the better team and would be favored in any matchup between the 2 teams.

We may need to petition the SEC to move the series from Auburn to LSU due to the forecast of the potential storm which may impact several SEC series from being completed.
