It’s impressive considering joe threw the ball more than most QBs that have played here. He also only had a month before the season began to learn the system, adjust to the school, and learn how his teammates play.

It's kind of entertaining to see how many people hate on BJ and Ree, yet spend an inordinate amount of time in their threads just complaining.

Take the info or leave it

Redzone/scoring was more of a symptom of inexperienced WRs, injured O-Line, QB with minimal team reps, etc.

all i see is excuses. it's basic football. We don't play alabama every week. It's not that hard to throw it up to your 6'5" WR's in the endzone every now and then.

This post points out that LSU was in the top-3 of the entire Power-5 in INTs given up. That is significant.

It points out that we were scared to turn the ball over and didn't take chances and were super conservative in our play calling, which we have been for about 8 out of the last 10 years.

I get it when it's an opinion thread that is intently created to be divisive and bring conflict. But, I don't get it with the ones that are just stats, especially a stat that shines a very positive light on our QB. The position LSU has struggled with for nearly a decade now.

you'd know that off-gassing (not gas leaks, idiot) from volatile construction materials can be a health hazard in new construction.

And is at its most volatile in the first few weeks after the completion of construction. Can cause flu-like symptoms, nausea, nose-bleeds etc. Google it, moron.

Considering the high-profile nature of the project and the desite for tax credits, they probably conducted LEED indoor air quality testing prior to occupation. As such, your point is moot.

Think our lack of a running game hurt. Completion pctg also dropped pretty dramatically in the RZ.

I don't have the answer to this question, but how many times in those 8 to 10 years have LSU quarterbacks been this high on this list?

Well, there goes the neighborhood. Not on you this time, BJ.

Do a little reading on toxic off-gassing in very new construction. It won't kill anyone. But 10 or 15 hours of exposure a day for a week or so can definitely make a guy "green around the gills".

Carpet
Everyone’s familiar with that “new carpet” smell. What some people do not know is that scent comes from a chemical known as 4-phenylcyclohexene (4-PCH), which is used in the carpet backing. In a study performed on animals, those that were exposed for a few hours suffered severe toxicity, including death. Over a two-week inhalation study, those exposed to high amounts for six hours a day showed extensive damage, including spontaneous lesions.

While the effect on humans is still being established, off-gassing from new carpet and rugs are a common problem. In addition to 4-PCH, new carpets can also include styrene and formaldehyde,

That's just carpet. Check out the chemical soup off-gassed by paint, adhesives, flooring, caulking, etc.

which is probably more than adequate for its intended use. But Woodward said yesterday that a few hours a day is its intended use. And that the players will no longer be permitted to sleep overnight there.

What did the passing stats look like in SEC play?

After 2008, Miles became almost psychotic in his desire to have his offense turn it over as little as possible.

I bet Etling and 2011 Lee/Jordan both were very high.

I thought it was far less than that. Around 5-6?

Once again, everyone under the bus except A) Your guy and B) the coach who brought him in.

You don't care a rat's arse about our program...only Joe Burrow's personal success within it.

It was. I have no earthly idea where he got that number from. Yet I am sure someone will defend him and explain to me why he's an alright poster.

Int per attempt is a stat. Int per game is useless if one guy throws 50 passes a game and one throws 20. You already knew that though
That's why there is a 250+ attempts threshold.

I ran the numbers the other way and very little changed. Burrow is still in the top 3 in Power-5 QBs - Some of the teams with mega attempts moved up.

Most of those high-attempt teams are throwing 80% of their attempts under 10 yards. Feel free to post your own chart.

Sans Murray and Fromm that's not a great group of QBs to be paired with.
