The Texas Bowl vs. Texas does sound like a snoozefest. I'd rather LSU play someone we've rarely or never played.

Never been to the Gator Bowl. Since I live within 3 hours I like it and will get to go.
I wish they would call it the Taxslayer Gator Bowl. They get naming rights, but the Taxslayer Bowl sounds retarded.

Texas Bowl is the logical choice by the SEC office (close to fan base, history of LSU selling tickets for that stadium - LSU vs Wisconsin).

Only problem for me with Taxslayer Bowl is the Friday KO at 2:30pm. (Jan 2nd)
