My problem is she literally has done NOTHING to improve this program, and now she has a 3 yr extension in her pocket.

If you don't fire her you have to give an extension or its impossible to recruit. If the buyout doesn't increase and the base salary doesn't increase the extension doesn't mean much.

Couldn't the BoS rejected the extension? Seems like they need to be held accountable as well.
I guess they see making the NCAA tourney 6/7 years as proof she's doing a good job.

If Joe Alleva can avoid work in any capacity, he does it. Always takes the path of least resistance and never puts up a real fight for LSUs best interests.

For those that actually follow women's bball here, isn't this season shaping up to be horrible like the 2015-16 season was? Players leaving, recruiting problems, etc...There's only 1 senior on the entire team this year which is unheard of in women's bball.

She does not have one freshman on this year’s team. Did not bring one in and some of her best transferred

well it took DD 38 years to win 1 SEC so maybe Joe is using that theory (BTW, I am not anti DD, don't need the down votes), I am ANTI Nicki, lazy and under .500 sec after taking over a top 10 (maybe 5) program...that's not easy to do so fast

I agree with you she should be fired but if you aren't going to do it you can't leave a coach twisting in the wind with a one or two year contract.
