Good. We will crush the Yankees.

So how do we regroup after this 0-1 start?
Peej will jump off the bandwagon by halftime and will claim that LSU loses every gamer of the season.
Championship city here we come!

Does anyone know how Wisconsin's offensive line/rushing game is projected to be this season?

that seems like a lot to me in what is basically a road game.
Agreed.
It will be 6.5 by the day before game time. Lots of late money will come in.

We are gonna make a statement on prime time.

Both will be good.
Corey Clement had a disastrous 2015 with a sports hernia injury that kept him out / hobbled the entire year. On top of also being suspended for a game, he readily admitted that he went into 2015 with one-foot out the door.
I think just about all Wisconsin fans are happy to see Clement coming into the 2016 season 100% healthy and a completely revamped state-of-mind. Behind Melvin Gordon, I'm not sure there is a more physically-talented Wisconsin RB in the last ten years.
Along with Clement, Wisconsin has Dare Ogunbowale and Taiwan Deal. Both are serviceable backs, and the former is particularly apt catching the ball out-of-the-backfield.
Wisconsin had a very young OL last season that only gelled and got better as the year progressed. Technically, they will return four starters, though all five have extensive starting experience. In terms of size, you'll see 6-foot-6 across the board (with the exception of the lone upperclassman, Dan Voltz, at 6-foot-3).

This will not be an easy game for lsu. Wisky should stay close for three quarters. They will score on lsu. Idont care that we have your former dc. It all comes down to lsu wearing wisky down in the 4th. Then again wisky could come out on fire and get a lead lsu can't recover from. Anything is possible.

Or LSU could come out on fire and beat Wiscy by 30.
As we all know, in college football experience is often as important as talent. Wisconsin returns 6 starters on offense and 5 on defense (including just 1 defensive back). They haven't had a top 30 recruiting class in over 10 years. And that offense last year was bad (I'm talking 40 spots lower on the rankings than LSU bad).
While I agree with your original assessment (it'll likely be within a score until the fourth), I'm not sure where this reverence for Wisconsin is coming from.

We should win by 3 TDs. No messin' around this time.

Well, Wisconsin brings back a wealth of experience on offense.
Corey Clement returns after a year filled with injury. Both of his backups, Ogunbowale and Deal, started in 2015. There's an abundance of experience in the backfield. Wisconsin brings back four across the offensive line, with a fifth that started multiple games in 2015. On the outside, Wisconsin returns Rob Wheelwright (started, but missed four games in 2015) and Jazz Peavy (started multiple games when Wheelwright went down).
Wisconsin utilizes two tight ends, so having a guy like Fumagalli that has seen and started several games over the last two seasons (2014 and 2015) is valuable.
Really, the lone "inexperienced" position on offense will be the most important: quarterback. Unfortunately, this could be Wisconsin's undoing.
Defensively, Wisconsin returns seven starters. They lose three in the defensive backfield (Hillary, McEvoy, Caputo) and one off the front-seven (Schobert). Wisconsin hasn't ranked outside of the Top-25 in Total Defense for the last seven years. One steadfast for Wisconsin has always been putting a smart, disciplined defense on the field.
The Badgers are a developmental program, which means you get an abundance of players stepping in to fill roles after multiple years in the program. While "experience" reigns supreme, many players stepping into starting roles have a wealth of meaningful clock.
That being said, I still think LSU wins this game late.

While I admittedly don't know a lot about your program, everything I've read suggests that your boys don't return much from last year's team.
This article attempts to rectify the difference between "returning starters" and "returning field experience" and even it has your Badgers ranked near the bottom nationally.
Granted, the methodology and perceptions put forth in that article could be wrong as well. But it doesn't seem as if your team is as flush with experience as you're letting on.

Let's not pretend it will be business as usual after trading Aranda for Wilcox.

This will be like 2011 when we pounded Oregon in the opener. LSU couldn't handle their speed, etc. but took it to Oregon to start their epic season.
I see this much the same way. LSU simply has one of its most talented teams ever. I agree with some who have stated that LSU will use this as a statement game.
Defense is going to be nasty and aggressive. Offense improved, talent on the perimeters and up the middle. By the fourth quarter, maybe late third, Wisky defense will not want to see anyone in P&G with the ball.
LSU 38 - Wisky 10
Geaux Tigers!

I will go through it again, if you aren't buying what I am saying.
Corey Clement spent much of 2015 on the sideline. In his absence, Ogunbowale and Deal were the top-dogs in the Wisconsin backfield and combined for 1,300 yards and 13 TDs. The former, Ogunbowale, served as Wisconsin's starter and became an apt pass-catcher out-of-the-backfield. With Clement returning in 2016, Wisconsin has three RBs with plenty of meaningful run.
At WR, Rob Wheelwright started opposite of Alex Erickson in 2015. Halfway through the year, Wheelwright broke his leg and Jazz Peavy stepped-in in relief. Now, in 2016, both Wheelwright and Peavy will be starting at WR with meaningful run.
On the OL, Wisconsin returns four full-time starters in Dan Voltz, Michael Deiter, Beau Benzschawel, and Jacob Maxwell. There's a fifth, Micah Kapoi, that slid-in and started five games after Voltz went down with injury. What we can expect is that Deiter, Voltz, and Benzschawel will start on the interior with Jacob Maxwell and Ryan Ramczyk starting on the outside. This will leave Kapoi as the odd-man-out.
The one position that Wisconsin severely lacks experience, and happens to be most important, is quarterback. You can expect to see either Bart Houston (R-SR) or Alex Hornibrook (R-FR) under-center.
Defensively, Wisconsin returns six starters on the front-seven, but lose Joe Schobert. In the defensive backfield, Sojourn Shelton is lone returning-starter. Derrick Tindal would be the only other DB with meaningful playing-time, as he had two starts in 2014 and was Wisconsin's nickel-back in 2015.

When did I "pretend" that it will be "business as usual" ...?
As mentioned previously, Wisconsin fields a traditionally hard-nosed, disciplined defense. While it lacks the "athletes" of some of the traditional powers, it has been a steady defense for the last decade. In that span, the Badgers have ranked outside the Top-30 twice in total defense, with the last seven years as a Top-25 defense. Aranda headed three of those defenses, which were tremendous. It is only realistic to expect Wisconsin to take a step-back, but not unrealistic to see Wisconsin maintaining the status-quo as a good unit.

It's gonna end up being like 31-17 or something similar with LSU pulling away late. Every year people on this board act like we are going to stomp our first opponent for various reasons and it doesn't work out like that for the most part. See Wisconsin, UNC, TCU.
The biggest aspect of this game that seems to not be mentioned is Aranda. That is why the Wisky defense played so well against us in that opener 2 years ago. How will they play under a new Defensive Coordinator? Also, how will the LSU defense play in their first game under Aranda, and how will they play against the familiar(to Aranda) Wisky offense?
It's gonna be a really fun game to watch, but it won't be a blowout. And, LSU will pull away late.
