You also have to consider that the Tigers D will be even faster playing on turf

I sorta Feel like Miami could be a paper tiger.

Pretty much everyone feels like they played way over their heads last year, and came back down to earth towards the end of the season.

But they returned everyone and people get better.

If that happens it’s going to be a different feeling around here.

To me, it’s going to come down to our OL against their DL and their OL against our DL.

Whoever has the advantage wins, IMO. I could see either teams OL being overwhelmed.

LSU will win by 2 scores. Take that +4 betting line.

I hope you’re right, but I’m not sure why everyone is so confident as to saying we’ll win by a large amount. I like our team, but Miami has players and a great team. The game will be good. Anyone worried about jinxing our team?

Won't the Miami O also be playing on turf?

I think you are right. This team is going to be way better than most you and the media think.

Just don’t move the goalpost after the game and say they were the better team if things go sideways.

I also think LSU matchups favorably in this game and should win.

Miami O has never faced an SEC defense with this kind of speed

I'd be surprised if either team scored more than 2 TDs. I foresee this being a low scoring, ugly defensive battle.

They face Clemson all the time. Their defense isn't exactly slow.

It's a screwy line based merely on preseason rankings. You really can't have the considerably higher-ranked team getting points or all the dumb money would flow to Miami. This line will move towards LSU when gameweek rolls around and the bulk of the money starts to flow.

Make no mistake, though, regardless of the point spread, LSU is the favorite in this game. LSU is underrated going into 2018, and Miami is overrated. LSU has better players and should win this game in front of a partisan LSU crowd. The point spread isn't in place to determine a winner, it's in place to get equal money on both sides.

Louisiana State will WIN, Cover the Spread, and the Total will go Over.

Yeah just like Wisconsin wasn't going to be able to handle our speed.

Miami has great athletes that can compete with LSU. It will boil down to coaching . We can overwhelm two teams athletically on our schedule and that's it.

LSU D will be the best since 2011, don't see Miami scoring more than 14. Not sure why I'm getting down voted

I'm not sure if both teams even combine for 2 TDs.

LSU wins 6-3, in OT.
