I was a little surprised by that too. Weird podcast format, but some good info about their expectations. They apparently are bringing some fans.

How big of a deal is this?


D1 Baseball does positional power rankings throughout the season. It's a top 30 for most positions, top 100 for outfielders, top 50 for relievers, not sure yet on the starters.

It's basically a deeper dive than just the all American teams for the preseason, and then a way to track top players throughout the season.

Cabrera, Beloso, Garza, Mathis, and Fontenot have made those lists so far. Starting pitcher list hasn't come out yet.

You think Dugas sticks at 2 with the way he’s hit in the scrimmages? Only 20 ABs but that would be putting a lot of faith in him.
