Sorry I get frustrated with so called fans judging a team before we even begin sec play based off a midweek game. Like seriously how moronic can you be

Oh, well. Everybody got some good play/practice time.

I'm not melting over a midweek game, but it would be nice if we could win a midweek game against a team with a pulse. Thank God we were able to substitute San Diego for LC.

quote:its a pattern. I was at the games in houston. I saw most all of the games the last 8 years and we have a common pattern.1. Leave in pitching too long. In fact give up leads because of it. That's on PM.

2. These team don't know what timely hitting DJ and. Chris Cotton were the last real clutch players on any of his teams.
Poor hitting is on the coach.
3-17 with RISP.

"THE" university of Louisiana.
I'm really not interested in the nonsensical rantings of the "That's Baseball" pumper crowd either.
No fricking way LSU should ever be losing to any little Podunk State school in anysport ever. Starting to get annoyed.
What we could possibly be seeing here are the first little initial stirings of Mainieri turning into Les Miles; been here too long and has lost that edge. That, combined with the hiring of "BBQJaviGrewe2.0" to replace Cannizaro.
LSU is too big a college baseball program to "Settle" for hiring anybody but experienced professional hitting coaches. Hey, lets go hire Cam Cameron and Bradley Dale Peveto. Fire up that Grill!
Baseball "21-0" better not be unfolding before our eyes.................

Then you don't know anything about the game of baseball. The best teams can lose to anyone. The '97 LSU team, who some consider the best college baseball team ever, has midweek loses to:
North East Louisiana.
Southwestern Louisiana
And not once but twice to...............
You guessed it. UNO.
It bothers me some that we don't completely rock midweek pitching, but the game of baseball is a weird one. There will be SEC games this season where we will step in and shell a couple of pretty good pitchers. It happens.

dog gone it - I couldn't stay up any longer and fell asleep in the 11th when we caught up 4-4. Lets go Tigers!
