"thinking of putting on last nights entourage to waste the 30 minutes... anyone wanna give a hypothetical line up should Mahtook stay for shits and giggles?"
All right, Elleshoe - I'll play.
How about this?
1. Arby Fields, RF (hit .280 in a wood bat league out in California, and was 25-27 in stolen bases in 134 at bats - what is that, like 35 games?)
2. Raph Rhymes, LF (they've got to let him play a position, and LF is the only one I can find for him)
3. Mason Katz, DH (I look for him to blow up as a junior, along with Rhymes and Jones)
4. Mikie Mahtook, CF (him coming back throws the lineup into flux, as Jones doesn't move to center field like people thought)
5. Jacoby Jones, 2B (he ought to hit for a huge average, but the question is whether he fills out some and hits for some power as a sophomore)
6. Austin Nola, SS (looking for a MUCH better year out of him next year)
7. Jake Barrios, 1B (he can hit for some power, he hits for a VERY high average, and he's got the size and athleticism to play first base well; plus, he's got to be in this order somewhere)
8. Ty Ross, C (expect that he'll split time with Ty Moore, who is a better hitter and is also that rarest of birds at LSU; a left-handed bat)
9. Tyler Hanover, 3B (he could hit elsewhere, but he's an extremely valuable guy as a 9-hole hitter)
Scary...and not to mention the fact you didn't mention Gausman, Eades, McCune and all the other stud pitchers.

so if we don't hear anything by 11:00, that means Mikie is back to LSU, amirite?

I thought KG was going to be a Soph. Doesn't he need to wait 3 years before re-entering the draft?

If he comes back....that lineup will be sick. Anything other than Omaha is a disappointment.
3 minutes!
3 minutes!

His age makes him a draft eligible sophomore.
